The Oceanside Inn rises above 23 miles of beautiful white-sand beaches of Daytona Beach, Fla. The Daytona Marina, Ocean Center, Daytona Convention Center and Daytona Beach are within 2 miles of the hotel. Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Daytona International Speedway are Less than 7 miles away, and Daytona Beach International Airport is 8 miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
The Oceanside Inn's lobby extends from the street directly to the beach, and driving on the beach is permitted. Watercraft rentals and horseback riding are available along the oceanfront, as are golf, tennis, aerial sightseeing tours and parasailing. A comfortable sitting area offers floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean views. The outdoor pool with sundeck and lounge chairs overlooks the beach, and a smaller pool allows toddlers and children to splash and play in the Florida sun. The hotel also offers a mirrored fitness center that overlooks the pool. For convention or special occasion use, the hotel features 2,700 square feet of meeting and banquet space. Complimentary continental breakfast is served daily.

The Atlantic Ocean is directly in front of the Daytona Beach Oceanside Inn. An outdoor heated pool with lounge chairs overlooks the beach, and a smaller pool is available for children. The hotel also offers a rooftop sun deck.
A small, mirrored fitness center with cardio and weight machines faces the pool.
Watercraft and equipment rentals are available up and down the beach. On-beach driving is permitted on this section of Daytona Beach.

Wasn't that great.... My room wasn't even ready when we got there, and the room we were put in had a stinch to it... We were also disappointed in the breakfast .... Only consist of a danish and some cereal.... And was upset there wasn't a hot tub :(Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ocean Side Inn - Feb 2013"
Hotel was comfortable, nicely located for my necessity. Parking was a little odd, but doable. The ladies on the front were able to provide me with all necessary assistance and Internet service was provided at no charge, which is a nice bonus. Access to the pool deck to the beach was neat. On the downside, the room assigned to us was smaller than expected, […] no window or balcony (kind of a must in FL on OceanFront). The room was clean. I would have given a 5 to comfort if it were not for the surrounding neighborhood and lack of security personnel, which was kind of scary. One last thing: the brochure/description talked about a continental breakfast included in the rate, which was a key feature for my choice on this hotel. That is incorrect: included in the rate is a "LIGHT-Continental Breakfast" which included milk and cereals, coffee, toast and oatmeal, that's it. "A Good Place to Stay if the Price is Right"
Booked 10 Rooms for a small conference. Room view was nice. "Kitchenette" meant they had a sink along with a micro fridge and a microwave. Chose it because it was rated 3.5 by guests and had a breakfast. The breakfast was cereal and pastry with some juice and no fruit. They were not clear about this. This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. It seems to have gone down hill since our last stay in 2008. Needs updating and they have cut back to a continental breakfast that is not even worth the bother. Don't get rooms in the corner of the building, if you want to go wireless - great view, but bad signal. It is a shame the rooms don't have a balconys. "VERY POOR"
They advertise internet, but never could get online in the room, needed it for work, so I had to find a different way to get connected. They kept telling me I could come down to the lobby and work. NOT CONVENIENT! They had 3 schools at the Hotel at the time we were there. Plus to use there computer in the lobby you had to pay for 15 minute at a time. […] POOR Idea. WHEN YOU ARE WORKING. We went down for the continental breakfast & nothing was out. Plus, I can't drink Orange juice & that is all they had, beside coffee or milk, very poor all the way around. The only good thing about this hotel was it's employees! I did not appreciate hidden fees. My room was outdated-not as pictured& we could not turn on the heater due to fumes it emitted, so we slept freezing cold. Free breakfast....bitter coffee, some fake oj, and stale doughnuts & cereal was all that was offered! As for toiletries....don't expect anything […] other than a chemical bar of soap or shampoo! No body wash or hair conditioner which made it wonderful to try to comb my hair as I ripped it out due to no conditioner! Next year when I travel to Daytona for work...I will not be staying here!!!!
