"Extremely disappointing service and customer care!"
We needed a place for my daughter and friend to stay which would give them airport transportation. Because they needed to check out by 11 am, their transportation service ended at that time. Their flight was at 5 so to avoid a cab fair, they got at the airport 6 hours early. They were willing to get their own cab to get there if the front desk would […] hold their luggage but absolutely not. Wouldn't even consider it. "Super 8 Not Great"
This Super 8 did not live up to the reputation of any of the Super 8's I have stayed in before. The neighborhood was not good. There were no restaurants within walking distance. Our room had a terrible odor that literally took our breath away it was so heavily fragranced. The shuttle driver did not offer to assist us with our bags when we arrived at […] the hotel. This hotels reviews said it was in a good location. What a joke we felt very unsafe. When we opened the door to our room there was a horrible stench and over all very run down and dirty. "No shuttle to dungeon"
Major reason we selected hotel was free shuttle service to/from Ft Lauderdale airport. Called day before arrival to make sure shuttle would pick us up--told yes, just call when we arrived. After arriving called hotel and was told shuttle driver was sick, had to go home, and no replacement was available so we would have to take a taxi. Manager was not […] available that day or the next and no other front desk staff would reimburse us for taxi fare. Very few things within walking distance of hotel. Did not feel good/safe in the neighborhood, especially at night. Therefore we felt 'trapped" most of the time. We cancelled our last night's stay there.
