    My stay at this hotel was fine except for the lower bar/restaurant area. The lady who was an attendent there was very rude to me and my daughter. We had... brought in food from the outside and she rudely told us that we could not eat there, in which there are no signs posted stating this. I asked why she said stated you just can't . It was not a matter of following a rule but her rudeness toward me and my daughter. on the other hand in the restaurant to the right as you enter the hotel where we had breakfast, the sevice was excellent as well as the service on the 12th floor.     Nestled among palm trees drenched in the Florida sun, the smoke-free Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Airport and Cruiseport Hotel in Dania, Fla., is next to the Design Center of the Americas, less than 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) from the cruise ships docked at Port Everglades and less than 7 miles (11.2 kilometers) from the Riverwalk. The Fort Lauderdale International Airport is just 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) from the hotel. This Sheraton property provides a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle. The hotel also offers transportation from the hotel to the Fort Lauderdale Everglades Cruise Port for USD10 per person per trip.

    The impressive lobby welcomes guests with a skylight, two-story windows, and a fountain that beckon guests into a haven of relaxation and sophistication.     I came in for a job interview and the Sheraton was perfect. They held my bags while I was out and arranged a taxi to and from my interview. All the stress was taken out. Also, there were plenty of plugs in the room for my laptop and iPad. The internet worked well! Breakfast room service was great.

    Big complaint! Treat Starwood members better, even though they've booked through Hotels.com. One night stay for very early flight out next morning. I checked in around 5pm. The Room they gave me was right next to noisy elevator that required sleeping with the equally noisy bathroom fan on during the night to make "white noise." I can't imagine this […] property was booked full. I would have complained and requested a move if it were for more than the one night. Also, the room reeked of mildew. Read more

    Good hotel. Great location next to I-95. Late night service is pretty weak . Had a problem with parking lot and it took three tries by a very inexperienced desk clerk.

    I had a great deal until I had to pay 15 per night to park. There is also additional charges for wifi in your room. Tha staff were cold to rude. I wouldent stay there again if it were free.

    I did not request a "special needs" room. I'm not sure why I was given a room that was equipped for "special needs". I did not get the feeling that the hotel was full. There were other rooms available. Giving me a good rate should not affect the quality or type of room requested.

    The hotel room carpet, bed, furnishings and window coverings were soiled and dusty. There was mold at the ceiling near the A/C vent. The bathroom tile had mold and mildew in the grout, on the hand rail and shower head. The shower curtain liner had holes from being ironed. Awakened by housekeeping at 8:00am to service the room.     The facility is kept in very good condition, staff was pleasant, rooms conformable and clean. Entrance into the Hotel is a little dicey, specially when checking in. Room rates reasonable however, if you want certain amenities you are going to PAY. Spotty free WiFi in lobby. If you want it in your room your going to pay 9.95 a day. Parking per day is […] 12.95. Meals of course are very high for what you get. So if the bill is on your companies dime and you don't care, it is a nice place.     I have stayed at this hotel for years and it is attached to the Design Center of the Americas which is my Ft. Lauderdale location (actually Dania). The hotel is nice but if you want to go anywhere else to eat you need a car or inconvenient taxi. It appears to be used a lot by cruise groups arriving before their cruise. Staff has never been great but […] was a little better this time. Beware, they still have smoking rooms so you must insist on non-smoking or risk possible smoking room.     Overall, I had a good experience at the hotel. It was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. If you are planning to fly out of FLL or cruise out of the Fort Lauderdale port, this is a prime location. The hotel shuttle provided complimentary transportation from the airport to the hotel, and to the cruise port as well (for a small fee).

    I know that is a weird title but when you walk into this hotel they have a scented lobby. It is fantastic. The hotel has a free shuttle servcie to the port and airport. That is great. However if you are staying more than a couple of days get a car because the hotel has its own restaurant and that is it for eating around there. I walked across the […] street to other hotels just to change it up. It is just a couple minutes to the airport. The only thing I didnt like about the hotel is they charge you for internet service. Charging for Parking is common around there because people who take a cruise try to sneak their cars in there and leave them during the cruise.     The pickup by the hotel van at FLL was wonderful as I'd had a hard day of travel, check-in was smooth, room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, however, needed caulking, some paint yet .it was perfectly serviceable. But I'd go back if I needed an airport hotel in FLL.

    This is a nice property that can be overpriced in season or when occupancy high. It is great for overnight before leaving early morning from FLL and when staying for business at the DCOTA (Design Center of the Americas)

    Thee hotel was great as we stayed in for a conference. We thought that the restaurant menu was very limited as we stayed for 10 days and there was very little difference between lunch and dinner. being close to the airport, there were very little restaurants close by
