"Not good shuttle service"
Our plane was delayed and once we got to the airport and obtained our luggage, we called for shuttle service and waited ONE HOUR!! Once we got to reception all the agent did was give us free breakfast. NOT GOOD! I try to stay at Sheratons for the SPG points and this Sheraton was in the most disrepair. "Too Big"
I come down 3-4 times a year and have a favorite small hotel nearby that has comfortable rooms, fine appointments in the bathroom. Couldn't get into that favorite this time, so opted for this and found 1) $15 charge for parking (other hotel does, 4) one soap in bathroom so I had to retrieve soap from sink for shower, then back again to sink. We were in first unit 912 and it was covered in pet hair and flees. No waist liners and hair all over bathroom. Then we changed rms to 1024 and it was better. Comforters shown black marks all over them along with the bed skirts. Not sure on how often you wash them. But Housekeepers should of noticed this. "Awful Experience"
The hotel room carpet, bed, furnishings and window coverings were soiled and dusty. There was mold at the ceiling near the A/C vent. Was not aware of the parking fee per car per day finally got to the room after a very long day of travelling. As soon as I entered the room it was apparent that someone had obviously smoked in the non smoking room. They were kind enough to switch our room to another down the hall. Had a quick stay here as I had family business just for a morning. The bed was soft and my wife and I just kept rolling towards the middle. The water in the bathroom was warm, but not hot. "Poor service, awful bathroom, and extra fees"
Let me start by saying the comfy beds were the only good thing. I felt because of my age (23) the staff did not care to give me as much attention or courtesy as they would have with other guests. There is no shower pressure, and the floor of the tub looked dirty. There also was a lack of counter tops in the bathroom, forcing myself to place my bathroom supplies on the towel rack. Also, while I understand that it is a standard of the hotel chain, it is a rip off that you must pay $10 for in-room internet, forcing one to come down to the lobby, when it would be more relaxing to use it in the room. Very strong spray (cleaning?) smell on the main floor/lobby area. Then we waited nearly 20 minutes for tea/coffee and dessert. Totally unreasonable since there were only about 10 people in the restaurant part, 6 of those being us and our friends that evening. The restaurant manager, however, was extremely pleasant, as were the reception employees we dealt with.
