"Happy with Hilton EXCEPT room service"

After reading some of the previous reviews and was concerned about staying here. But to my surprise this hotel was neat, clean and overall everyone and everything was GREAT!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, but someone should do somethiing about the high cost of eating at this hotel. The food costs were outragous. We spent more on food for one night than we did on our hotel. "Super Convenient"
This hotel is super close to the airport and has all the amenities that I was looking for in a business hotel. My room was immaculate and had all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay (shampoo, soap, etc). Free Shuttle was perfect and runs 24 hours. "Valet - Have a question ask Valet."
The people working Valet provided excellent service. They had the information that most of us needed. Since this Hilton was located close to the airport there wasn't much around that was within walking distance. A shuttle or taxi service would be needed if you didn't have a car. "Restaurant failure to meet expectations of Hilton."
The hotel service was excellent. However the Saturday night buffet in the dining room was awful. The selections were fine but the food was not hot. It was not even warm, and I was the first diner to go to the buffet. I definitely would not use the buffet again. This is where I stay when traveling for business or pleasure in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The hotel is very close to FLL airport and their free shuttle runs every half hour.
