"Too much noise!"
Our room was on the back side of the hotel facing the freeway. The airconditioning unit for the entire hotel was right outside of our room. The noise from the freeway and the airconditioning going "on and off" all night kept us from much needed rest. We needed to leave next morning at 6am for our 8am flight. "One night stay"
Well the overall hotel was ok. The common areas were very clean. Our bathroom was not. There was dirt and something sticky on the floor. The bathroom door wouldn't open the whole way because the toilet was in the way and it made a loud noise everytime you tried to open the door because you would forget that it was going to hit the toilet. Was not aware of a fee to park, nor was I informed as to what was needed to show the attendant once I left the garage. Hotel is a little dated and looks like some updates are needed. This is really NOT indicative of a Hilton hotel. More like an aging Best Western. There was an empty space in the cabinet where the mini-bar should be. "Very surprised by the dirt at this Hilton!"
We stayed one night, just to be close to the airport. We thought we couldn't go wrong with choosing a Hilton. We were wrong. the place was filthy. The bathroom was a horror. "Good commuter hotel"

The Airport Hilton is in dire need of some repair, upgrades. I noticed some wear in many areas, the tile in the elevator was broken , and a hole in the floor, and as i entered a piller was also damaged. The flags hanging outside the entrance were filthy. I was disappointed that the hotel did not have a shuttle service to and from the ships pier's...we had to hire a car service...that is not what I was told when I booked my flight...I was also not happy that I had to pay for parking..?...and was not told that upfront either...!...You also have to pay to use the business center to print your airline boarding […] passes?...The hotel is in desperate need of updating and major housekeeping...the elevators were filthy and the rooms need to be painted as well as the doors to your room...overall I would give this place 1 star...sorry you asked and I told...I could say more but have better things to do...PS..I will never return to that property! "Horror at Hilton"
Shuttle from the airport to the hotel took over an hour to arrive even after two phone calls to the hotel. Handle to flush the toilet was broken. A loud motor of some sort was running all night and it was impossible to sleep without ear plugs. When I asked to have my room changed it was as they were doing me a favor. Noisy, had a difficult time sleeping. Had to get up early to get early flight, chaos getting the shuttle from the hotel to the airport - too many people for a few vans. "Gorgeous property, bad service"
First off; it is a gorgeous hotel. Well kept, beautiful pool. nice, clean rooms. However, the staff is inattentive. I called at the airport for the courtesy shuttle, was told it would be ten to thirty minutes. After waiting about forty minutes in the baking sun, I called again and was told the exact same thing, almost like the were brushing me off. […] Waited over an hour for the shuttle. Even though this website says that rollaway beds are available for all rooms (we were traveling with two adolescent boys who would not share a bed), the desk told us that fire regulations prevented rollaways in the rooms with two double beds. Asked for a couple of extra blankets so we could "mac gyver" something of a bed. Had to ask six times. Finally, they agreed to bring us a rollaway, which was nice. However, the housekeeping staff member who wheeled us the rollaway bed had a surly demeanor and acted like she was doing us a big favor. Would I stay there again? Probably not, which is a shame, because the hotel was physically very nice. But the desk staff wouldn't give us the time of day. One mitigating factor, however was the onsite bistro. We flew into FLL and needed a place to stay before driving to Key West the following morning, so the hotel was a reasonably priced choice. Even though we arrived at the airport at 11 p.m., the free shuttle couldn't accommodate all the arriving guests. "If you can get it cheap..."
I needed a hotel for an unplanned overnight stay, got a double bed room cheap. Shuttle runs every 30 min picking people up from the airport. The gift shop with the overpriced stuff is off to the side and closes at 11pm. If you're thirsty, just get stuff from vending machines. We requested a crib to be in our room before arrival and we were told it would […] be but it wasn't. Had the same experience at another hotel and I'm now wondering if hotels make this mistake to help the staff with gratuities. The room was good enough. Beds were what we needed. I will say this though. It's 2013. Tube TV's from the 1990's are a hotel no no. You'll see that other reviewers agree. You'll also see that weird thing about the bathroom door hitting the toilet. Keep in mind there is nothing within walking distance. An unfortunate combination of events led to a stressful night. Since it was an unplanned stay, I couldn't get milk for my child. No milk at the gift shop either. After an hour of my kid crying for it, I tried room service and decided I would break down and order an expensive milk I would have paid it for my kid too had room service actually answered the phone. I assumed they would be available since the menu said "available till midnight" and there was no answer at 1045pm. So for a cheap rate on a rush, no problem. "Disapponting"
My second floor room was down a hallway through the meeting room area and was not well marked. Tiny bathroom and the door hit the toilet seat when opened. It was supposed to be non smoking, but smelled of residual smoke. When I called operator to ask for a different room, she transferred me to the front desk, but there was no answer.
