The Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport is connected to Chicago O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Ill, the only hotel located on airport grounds. The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and the Rosemont Theatre stand two miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
The hotel's two-story lobby is decorated with expansive windows, geometrically patterned carpet and a reception desk constructed of black granite contrasted against a cherry-red wall. Dining options include Andiamo that serves American cuisine in a casual atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 1920s-themed Gaslight Club steakhouse offers lunch and dinner service. The Sports Edition lobby-level bar broadcasts sports events on 14 monitors and serves beer, wine, cocktails and appetizers. Caffe Mercato serves coffee drinks, pastries, salads and sandwiches. The hotel houses self-service and staffed business centers. A total of 37,000 square feet of function space accommodates events. The 10,000-square-foot Hilton Athletic Club contains monitor-mounted cardiovascular machines, weight-training equipment, exercise balls, steam rooms, a tanning room and two massage-treatment rooms. An indoor pool is paired with a spa tub. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas of the hotel.

The Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport offers 858 contemporary guestrooms housed within two, 10-story wings. Hilton Serenity Beds are dressed with pillowtop mattresses, down comforters and feather/down pillows. Furnishings include leather recliners, granite-topped nightstands and dressers, and desks paired with ergonomic chairs. In-room treadmills are available for a fee. Floor-to-ceiling windows are soundproofed, and the airspace above this property is legislated as a no-fly zone. Guestrooms are equipped with either high-speed or wireless 45-inch flat-panel televisions and MP3 adaptors, while select rooms feature 52-inch flat-panel televisions, Yamaha sound systems and connectivity panels. Hypoallergenic rooms feature hardwood floors, charcoal-filtered showerheads, and anti-microbial agents.

This hotel is literally on the grounds of O'Hare airport, steps from the terminals, public transportation, parking ramps and parking tram to the remote lots. I had to stay one night at the O'Hare Hilton. I arrived at the hotel and the valet was full, and there was no valet anywhere, and no alternatives given as to where to park. I finally just left my car parked out front and checked in. There they told me to park overnight in the airport for $57 / night, which was about a quarter mile away walk in the dark […] back to the hotel. In my hotel room it reeked of cigarette smoke terribly. I called to get another room, but nobody came with a new key, so I left to go to the elevators to go back down to the front desk. However, then the elevators were shut down. After a (very nice) maintenance man came by and saw me helpless, he finally got someone from the front desk to reassign me a room and let me in, after we hauled by heavy suitcases up three flights of stairs to my new room. The new room was not very nice, but at least didn't smell like smoke. The room was old, dusty and there was crud in places like the crevasses in the desk. Management gave me a voucher towards my meal, but when I looked at the menu I was blown away by the EXTREMELY expensive prices. I eat out a lot and understand that eating out at hotels can get expensive, but we're talking about TOTALLY sub-par NY strip with french fries and spare rapini for $53.00. Really? There was also about a 2 inch gap between the door and the floor which didn't make a woman travelling alone feel very safe. I couldn't WAIT to get out of there and I will never stay there again. "Hotel inside of airport - NOT"
When I booked this itinerary, I was led to believe that the hotel was within the hotel complex. After wandering about, I found that the hotel was much further away. I had to do a lot of walking with bad feet, and finally found the shuttle that would take me to the Hilton. Once I found the terminal,I still had to walk from the airport to the hotel, outside! Hotel - great location for short overnight stays for early flights. Staff very professional. However you cannot add your airline points to the Hotel.com booking so you loose your points. Hotel staff WILL NOT add it in. They will say the booking is closed and prepaid, so not available to update. Not happy about this.. But the rooms are clean. "Comfortable and convenient"
If you have an early flight out of O'Hare, I highly recommend staying at the Hilton O'Hare. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we only had to cross the street to be in our terminal. We weren't disturbed by airplane noise (but then again we were there between 2am & 6am). It's a very nice airport hotel. Our flight was early so it was perfect. We didn't hear any airport noises and our window was facing it. The staff there were all super nice and helpful. There's nothing to walk to unless you like hanging out in airports. The restaurant was delicious but pricey. Early in the morning there was banging around in the hallways […] but some of it were other guests. The bed was comfy but we had the handicapped room so it was laid out a little odd. I thought my experience would be much different. It took forever to find the HIlton inside of O'Hare. There are no easy signs to give an idea of where to go. "Don't choose just because of location"
I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport for the last day of my trip (after flying in from New York and early flight out to Tokyo). After navigating the train between terminals, the underground walk ways and escalators I came to the conclusion that the hotel location was not as big a factor as I had first thought. Previous stays […] in hotels nearby using shuttle bus transport had actually been easier - admittedly you have to figure the pickup location, which door & process but worth it to get access to better quality and value for money options offered by hotels nearby. "Great location if you're flying out of O'Hare"
My neighbor was noisy....he was downright loud and it went right through the locked connecting door. The room was cold so I turned up the heat...the heat was noisy but it helped. It was a small room and tiny bathroom, but it got the job done. I truly hate Lodgenet but can easily survive it. Check in was slow as there were just 2 people at the front […] desk. The clerk was nice...perhaps a bit too nice...He kept calling me buddy. The cleaning people in the hall communicate with each other by shouting down the hall. That is a bit annoying, but they were very pleasant otherwise. I think the best thing about the hotel is that you can walk through the tunnels to your terminal for your flight. No need to wait for a hotel shuttle. The food was fair in the restaurants. I had a small dinner and then breakfast. The coffee maker in the room was pretty much on the fritz but since I don't really care for American coffee, I was not too upset. The bed was quite comfortable but to this day, I've never found a good hotel pillow. All in all, I would stay there again if I was flying out of O'Hare and wanted to be close. "Hilton needs to clarify the "no noise claim""
