Was in town for a volleyball tournament and just needed a clean inexpensive place to stay for the night prior to the tournament. "close to nice mall and shopping"
It wasn't to shabby. The bed was a bit hard for me back, but I've had worse. I didn't go in the hot tub because it was inside an enclosed kinda small room, so it didn't a ppeal to me. The heating unit in our room the first night did not work, however we decided to stick it out for that night. Beds were comfy with plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The next morning the desk clerk came up right away to check on the unit. He said it was likely the heating coil so he offered to move us to another room. When we booked with Expedia they said that there were kitchens in some of the rooms, so we booked that room. When we checked in and went to our room there was NO kitchen. I called the front desk and asked them about it and they said that they don't have any rooms with kitchens and that they would have to call Expedia. It was a good experience. They let us check in early, the room was clean and updated. It did not have a refrigerator and I like to keep cold beverages in our room. The breakfast was good and there was very little noise around our room. While on a multi-state trip we stayed here and found it clean, comfortable, and quite satisfactory. There is parking for longer rigs (we had a big U Haul) and convenient fast food, restaurants and gas stations nearby. My only suggestion is to ask about all the amenities as the nice young lady at the front desk failed to tell me about the indoor hot tub just doors from my room - it's on the second floor by the way. I had asked about a pool and there was a small (very small), cold pool outdoors. Kids would love it, but I did not. Smaller Ramada Hotel, but with that there came more individual care provided by staff. From the Desk Clerk to the cleaning people every one put forth great effort to make my stay better. They have a continental breakfast that starts at 6 AM, however I needed to leave earlier and to my surprise breakfast was waiting for me at 5:30. We went for the 4th of July celebration but we were not sure if we would watch the fireworks in Spokane or Couer d'Alene. Worked out great as we spent the day at the park in Spokane watching several bands play then went to CD and watched the fireworks over the lake! Great day! The staff were awesome, they were super nice. The room was clean and quiet. A lot of fixtures were old in the hotel room. The TV had a lot of problems.
