"Bad experience in nice hotel"
Hotel lovely, room excellent,nicely decorated, immaculately clean and everything worked. Comfortable bed and great nights sleep.Breakfast a disaster. Was told 20 minute wait. Given choice of waiting in bar area or in room and would be phoned. Chose to go back to the room as my son is autistic. Half an hour later no one had called, I went back to the […] restaurant and was ignored by the staff. I then went upstairs to pack. When I checked out at reception I was then shown to a table with my son. I was past it by then. I dont know if there was a choice of juices or cereals but if there was, they had gone. I was just asked, do you want a full english. The coffee was stewed, the breakfast lukewarm, we felt uncomfortable as the staff obviously wanted to clear up, we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. We ate very little and left.
