"A tired and tatty hotel, but they try there best!"
TheHotel is in a convenient location and only a few mins from the center of town, which is a great base for exploring the surronding area. The room we had was rather tired, tatty and worn. Fixtures which had come away from the bathroom had not been replaced, leaving marks on the wall. The carpets really could do with a deep clean and the scuff marks […] to the walls made the room look rather scruffy. There were a couple of issues with the servicing of the room which I had to bring to the attention to house-keeping / reception, but on both ocassiosn these were dealt with quickly without any problem. The staff were very plesant and polite & happy to help. The breakfast is a little expensive at £10 per person, but you do get the run of a cooked breakfast buffet (eggs cooke to order, bacon, sausages etc), cereal, fruit, pastries, toast, coffee etc. The quality of the food is excellent. For dinner in the evening, it's best to go into Kings Lynn, as all you will find in stone's throwing distance is a retail park with a smattering of pizza chains and car show rooms.
