    Lovely hotel, where we could relax and "chill out". No pressure to have evening meals with them, or any of the usual "up-selling" that many hotels seem... to indulge in. Car park can get a bit full, but that's because they have an arrangement with venue next door duriing the day - not a problem unless you don't know about it... which (when you arrive for your first visit) you might not! Struggled to find shaver point, which was embedded in side of bathroom mirror - it would help if this was pointed out when you arrive! Would we stay there again? Definitely!     Located in Ambleside (Lake District), Sawrey House Country Hotel is close to Hill Top, World of Beatrix Potter, and Hawkshead Grammar School. Also nearby are Church of St Mary and Beatrix Potter Gallery.

    Hotel Features.
    This Ambleside hotel offers a restaurant, a coffee shop/café, and a bar/lounge. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas.
