"The Damsen Dene Hotel"
Booked a nights stay at the Damsen Dene based on the strength of the Channel 4 series. Both myself and my partner loved the series so I felt it was an ideal present for his birthday. I was pleasantly suprised by how clean and stylish the hotel was in a gorgeous location. I felt the series didn't do the hotel's charm justice. Loved chatting to the staff […] shown on the programme and loved the surrounding area, Bowness is lovely. All together a great stay and am planning to return. The only negative was the vegetarian option at dinner. The shalot tart tatin was very poor. Sorry to the chef - if it's the same angry guy from the programme do I now need to fear for my life?
