Stayed here for two nights, was a mix up with the room we booked a twin got a kingsize, was rectified straight away, service was fantastic, room spotlessly clean, excellent pool and things to do for the kids and the food was delicious although expensive, the beds are extremely comfortable although the pillows were rock hard and there is a 5 pound tray […] charge when ordering room service which we werent told about until our third tray. Lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings, high standard of upkeep, beautiful main dining room & great breakfast. Only gripe was the vines restaurant, not great service. Service elsewhere in hotel excellent. Limited swim times with children meant we didn't get to use the facilities but this won't bother those without children!

carden park was all i expected and more, the staff were spot on, we had a slight problem with the top cover on the bed being stained which was slightly offputting but it was dealt with right away. the drinks are rather pricey but i guess this is a 4 star hotel so wasnt a surprise. plenty for children crazy golf, swimming pool ect. and the grounds were […] lovley to walk around. the breakfast was the best i have ever had fantastic. Great hotel, staff and facilities. A lovely stay, one of the best hotels we've stayed in. A couple of niggles with the room arose and they were dealt with straight away, in a courteous and efficient manner. Restaurants for dinner and breakfast were excellent, certain food was cooked to order, everything was fresh and locally sourced. The leisure […] and spa facilities again really good, a little disappointed with the (pool) disabled changing area, which doubles up as family changing room too. There is no direct route to the pool, and no seating, hair dryer, mirror or costume dryer either. This was the only downside and one (as a disabled person), that is common through out most hotels. Parking is a little distant though the hotel's concierge service happily parked and collected the car, when needed. So although slightly inconvenient not a major difficulty. The staff were extremely friendly, throughout the hotel from front of house through to the cleaners. Great stay lovely rooms and coffee/relaxing areas will definitely be going back - well done Carden Park - PS - We were looking for a short break for my birthday and found this hotel for a fantastic price via hotels.com - Overall 10 out of 10 Read more

What a fabulous place.we only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed for more. the bedrooms were large and bright with plenty of room and the bed was so comfy i could have stayed in it all day. my husband & I stayed for one night for our 36th wedding anniversary, the staff were very wellocoming the room we had was in the courtyard a very large comfortable room. the pool sauna & steam room very good; although it was very busy with children due to it been half term. The impressive entrance to the estate is just the start to a great experience. Entering the grounds you wind your way through one of the hotel's two golf courses up to an impressive reception. Parking signage could be better as there is no obvious drop off area at reception. A huge lounge/library area awaits as you enter the hotel where you are met […] by a concierge. Rooms are certainly big enough and well decorated. We ate in the Brasserie rather than the main restaurant where the food was very nice although be prepared for a bit of a shock with drinks prices. :-) There is a golf cart track around the courses which can be used as a running track and there is an indoor gym along with a pool/sauna/jacuzzi/steam room and the customary spa treatments. Back outsie there is tennis avalable, a driving range and all sort of quad biking/zip lining can be organised. Breakfast is the usual buffet style and although there is a huge selection there was no hams or cheeses. The omelette chef is always a nice touch. There is very little else in the vacinity of the hotel, a bistro pub is about 2 miles away. Overall a great hotel experience and we will definitely be back. Read more
