Menzies Hotels Cambridge

I cannot thank the staff enough very their efforts in making my wife and i's stay a stress free relaxing wonderful stay. The waiter service and food in the restaurant was beyond our comprehension. It was delivered to our table and looked and tasted divine. The swimming pool was a chilled place to relax and een my non swimmer wife went swimming ( all […] best hanging on to me whilst we floated around the pool).we both cannot wait to return and try out other hotels in this chain. The only negative was that he drinks were on the pricey side compared to a pub. But I could have walked to he ,coal pub only 5 mins away..( don't eat their though. There is a lovely beefeater a short can ride away on he A14 ( Huntington road) about £12 each way. Staff their are great as well. Read more

I like just about everything at this hotel! It's convenient, comfortable, clean, and has everything I want and need. I also love the food, although the service is quite slow. It appears that when they have busses of people, they open up a buffet line, and then it is somewhat faster, but not always. The food itself, though, is quite good. It was a delightful stay. We go away as a family on each of our birthdays to a different part of the country. We'd not stayed in a Menzies hotel before (nor even heard of it) but were very impressed. Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very friendly and the spa and pool area were great. I think the only thing that lets the hotel down a little bit is the amount of foreign staff, it can cause a bit of a language barrier at times.

Stayed for a week while my son was sitting exams in Cambridge so neither business or pleasure really. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was spotless and quiet. Near enough to the city to drive in within 15 minutes outside of rush hour. Pool was lovely. Food excellent. Room service excellent. Highly recommend.

We expected an overnight stay in Cambridge at New Year's to be expensive, yet the extremely reasonable price we paid included dinner and breakfast, and gave us the opportunity to have dinner in our room. Though the main reason we chose this hotel was the fact that they welcomed dogs!

3 single beds in one (single) room made the room cramped. Room was at end of wing and very close to busy A14 - windows are not insulated for sound! Service excellent, quick check-in @ 8pm and check-out @ 8am, good bar service (during busy Euro matches they had 2 serving), breakfast service and food excellent. Note; it is very busy at A14/M11 junction […] and A1307 after 7.45am. I spent next 2 nights at other side of Cambridge (Belfry in Cambourne) and this hotel and route into Cambridge via A428/A1303 is much quieter. Read more

I had an overnight stop here after a long day at Snetterton race track. The staff were friendly, and the room clean and comfortable. You need an exit code for the car park and the security suited me as I had my track car on a trailer in the car park. Recommended.

We've stayed at the Menzies Cambridge on numerous occasions. It's an excellent hotel. The leisure facilities are excellent - as is the restaurant (though the wine list is a bit pricey!) Convenient for north Cambridge being just off the A14. Easy enough to drive into Cambridge - or a five minute walk to the Tesco superstore will get you to a very frequent […] bus service into town.
