"Nice countryside location"

"Exceedingly Nice"
Minor observation (not a complaint) in that the restaurant menu was not very imaginative and some of the staff were quite young and not up to speed. Unfortunately although I was unable to make full use of them, the amenities were excellent. "Nice Location, pleasant atmosphere"
Not bad value at all I paid £39 for my stay and feel that they could charge a lot more if standards were kept abit higher! Extra care must be given to cleaning as these are old buildings and although very clean ad comfortable in general, there where certain areas that required abit of attention. "Beautiful countryside setting"
Communal area is magnificient with a lot for history. Only down side of trip that we could not get conecting room. One of the room's TV was not tuned in so we repoted, they were greatful of the feedback. Also it was good swiming poo,lt was a littel shame that spa was under maimtenance. Lovely hotel in a secluded location and I have stayed here before but service wasn't great on this occasion, and trying to get a meal and drink proved very difficult with reception staff unaware of a private function taking place in the restaurant and bar. "Really Nice Place"
Overall we had a great stay in this hotel. It is set in wonderful grounds with plenty of parking.The main house is old and characterful. There are other parts to this hotel which are less old, however, given that the cost of my nights stay was low, I did not have expectations that I would be given one of their higher end rooms. The room we were given […] was nice. The bed was of great quality, there was endless hot water, and the bedding was nice. We had a problem with the floorboards in our room (they were squeaky) but I have discussed this with the hotel. The breakfast was great, lovely coffee, lovely tea, plenty of choice. "Just Lovely"
Came here with my partner. The hotel was beautiful. We loved the drive in, the hotel looked stunning. The staff are truly lovely. Receptionists were brilliant, when one saw me putting a scarf on to cover my hair from the rain he offered one of the hotel umbrella's to me. The staff at breakfast were brilliant. The service was much better than any Hilton […] I have ever stayed at. I didn't have lunch or dinner as the prices were a bit steep. I decided to venture out and after about 20 min drive to High Wycombe I found a lovely Indian called Zara Indian & Seafood. I defo recommend anyone who stays here to go there. The Gym had a variety of equipment. It was small but ok for a hotel. Swimming pool, sauna etc were great. The only really bad thing about the hotel is the paper-thin walls. Noisy in the outer building where we were as it was a long wide corridor booked for an in house wedding so were woken up early by people sitting on sofas outside our room talking.
