"Nice but spa needs revamping"
Stayed for 2 night before New Year. Good service in general though slow at breakfast with drinks and coffee was poor. Room was nice and well sized though for superior deluxe option we expected a bath. This was a shame as our bathroom was beautifully decorated and had an excellent walk in shower. Spa facilities were also very average - pool was ok size […] for hotel but steam room and sauna couldn't fit more than 4 people in comfortably and sauna was not working one day. Massage I had was good though realised afterwards it was nearly 10mins shorter than advertised - we think due to fact they were running 7-8 mins late when we were supposed to start at 5pm and they were due to finish at 6pm - we were done by 5 to 6. "Excellent Staff..."
This hotel was excellent. The room was great and the restaurant was really good too. But the staff were excellent. We had an early start before breakfast would be ready and they packed some lovely bags of food for us to take with us. It was really nice surprise and a nice treat. "Lovely setting"
Lovely setting and a lovely spacious room with a lovely view. Bathroom good do with a bit of a touch up though but ok. Bit disappointed by breakfast only in that we do not eat pork and there wasn't an veggie sausage or beef as I had this at another Hilton a\nd was looking forward to that but there was very nice selection of everthing else. "Convenient & friendly"
We were staying on a Saturday night, as we were attending a function nearby. Everyone was very friendly, straight forward check in and the taxi was booked for us as requested. The room was perfectly fine, but nothing to write home about. The mattress was quite tired and the 'zip & link' to make two singles into a king size bed was not making the bed […] very comfortable. "Great for a night away !"
Stayed at this hotel twice now. Both times we have had an enjoyable stay. Bar/lounge area nicely decorated with loads of comfy sofas. Omnia restaurant lovely, we chose to eat from the al a carte menu, although fairly pricey the food was well worth it !!!. There is a choice of a cheaper buffet, but didn't look as good. Buffet breakfast was good with […] lots of choice. If you can get a good deal on a superior room its worth the extra, especially if you request a room with a balcony. Pool and gym look nice but we were too lazy to use this facility on both occasions !! Hotel caters for weddings/parties and there are familes staying so quite a buzy atmosphere in the lounge area afternoon and early evening. Quiter later on which was great with us.
