Good value for the money. Nothing fancy but clean & friendly accommodations. Within walking distance for sightseeing, beaches & dining. Can also take local bus for $1.25. One restaurant offered free round trip shuttle service. Taxis were easy to take since fees are set ahead of time. I am sure I have been in worse hotels, but I just remember one. In my room at the Nassau Palm, the carpet was filthy, the bathroom faucet leaked, there was crud around the bathtub, and the security latch on the door was broken (which is not very reassuring). Every complaint to the hotel staff was met with an expression of surprise of "How could this […] be?", yet nothing was done about it. I read alot of very negative reviews of this hotel before i booked, and i'm very glad that none of them led me to change my mind. For the price of this hotel, you really couldnt ask for anything better.
