"Great for a small family!"
The hotel was great for the price and very comfortable. We have 3 small children and had plenty of space. The complementary breakfast was much better than standard hotel fare as well. Overall our stay was great staff were all friendly and helpful, the only issue we had was our room air conditioner didn't work, we had them come to fix it and they got the temperature to drop to 70 from 77 which was better. They told me it would take 2 hours to fix it and we decided not to during our stay. Other than this problem our stay was wonderful […] and we will definetly stay again. "Our favorite hotel in Denver!"
We frequently stay at Embassy Suites-Denver Tech Center when we stay in Denver. The price is always competitive, and what you get at the hotel is the best around. The breakfast is AMAZING, with cooked-to-order omelettes or eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, waffles, etc. - a nice lobby with plenty of seating and privacy, manager's reception each evening […] with snacks and drinks, wonderful staff, clean, LARGE comfortable rooms, and in a very safe area. The only negative I have about the hotel is the distance to attractions in Denver - it's at least a 20 minute drive, with no traffic, but as long as you aren't planning to go back and forth a lot, it's not a big deal at all - it's right off I25 so it's convenient even though the dirve is a little bit. "horrible first night"
We had a horrible first night at hotel. They put my wife, my two year old, and me in a double room, instead of the king room we booked three weeks prior to our stay. When we complained had horribly rude service tell us they were completely full and there was nothing they could do. When I asked for a room change the following day as we were spending […] four nights I was told he didn't know and I would have to check in morning. I studied reviews on many hotels before I booked. The family and I were looking forward to this hotel based on the lovely pictures on your site of this hotel and the good reviews. "Best value in the Denver area!"
Our family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed here at the beginning and end of our Colorado vacation. The hotel was clean and bright, the room(rooms - it is a suites hotel) was great, very clean, and had a small fridge and a microwave. The beds were wonderful, the bathroom was clean with lots of towels. There was a "manager's reception" every evening […] with free well drinks, wine, and beer, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a friendly and capable cook to do eggs to your liking. It is in the Tech Center - so not exactly beautiful surroundings, but lots of nearby restaurants, and the concierge drove my wife and kids to the nearby Park Meadows Mall, so I didn't have to! We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Colorado vacation. It was one of the best hotel values we have ever experienced! The suite was roomy, very clean, with great beds and bedding, and plenty of towels. There was a "manager's reception" every evening for two hours with free beer, wine, and well drinks, and the breakfast buffet was unbelievable, […] complete with a very friendly and talented cook to make your eggs however you wanted. For a family of four, this saved us $50 a day! The concierge drove my wife and kids to the Park Meadows Mall about 4 miles away and picked them up later when they called while I was able to avoid the mall altogether! We most enthusiastically recommend this hotel. If you have business downtown it will be inconvenient, but it is very convenient to the southern part of Denver, the Tech Center area, Parker, and great if you are heading south. My children and I went to the Embassy Suites to have an enjoyable and relaxing weekend away from home. It was anything but! The window didn't open (actually broken) once "fixed", then we couldn't close it, room was extremely hot, both tvs had parental locks on and hotel couldn't get them off until 9pm. Our plans were to have a pizza and watch a movie. […] By 9, we left to get Burger King, my kids fell asleep in car, no dinner, no movie...Front desk staff was rude. Maintenance was very helpful. Really nice hotel. The sofa sleeper was very lumpy and the springs came right through. The front office would not replace the mattress or offer any other solution. everything was fabulous except check-in; the hotel receptionist was not going to let us check in due to the reservation was pre-paid in my husbands name and would not officially check us in unless he was there to sign.
