Overall, I was dissatisfied with my stay at the hotel. There was a moving roach on the nightstand and when the hotel staff was notified, I was completely brushed off. In addition the complimentary "breakfast" was a total sham. I could have gotten fruit anywhere.

I timed that a jumbo jet flies only 500 feet above the hotel every 1.5 minutes. If you are a light sleeper like myself, this could be a problem. The surrounding area isnt that great either. You are literally in front of the highway and there's a correctional facility down the road.

I was looking for a reasonable hotel for one evening between arriving in Miami and my flight home the next morning. I booked online, based on my required criteria: free wifi in my room, close to the airport, and an airport shuttle service. The experience started off ok, I was picked up fairly promptly at the airport, and the check-in was easy as everything […] was already paid via Expedia. I reiterated my need for in-room wifi access, and was assured it was available in every room. It wasn't. From there: I was moved 3 times and was never able to connect despite all of the troubleshooting I could do on my end. I decided to give up getting anything done and did not bother them or move again. We both suggested resetting the router may help, but they made no attempt to do so during my stay. Breakfast was ok... warm items were used and not replenished (though it was not yet halfway through posted breakfast hours), and the juice dispensers were dispensing some odd watery substance that bore little resemblance to juice of any kind and was undrinkable. The staff did nothing to remedy the situation. I reserved my ride back to MIA in the hotel shuttle upon check-in and confirmed I was on the list again in the morning. I arrived in the lobby an hour early, informed the front desk that I was there waiting in the lobby as instructed, and yet the shuttle nearly left without me - while I was being assured it had not left. Front desk staff not very helpful, needed three bowls to eat in the room as we were leaving before breakfest started at 6:00 AM, he said they were locked up and he did not have key, house keeping got them in 3 minutes, had to go to third floor to get ice, room only had one chair, no table. Not as close to airport as claimed.

- Staff in reception is stone faced. - Breakfast service closed on the minute even people are still eating. Not even to give a cup of hot water after it is half minute after close time. Unhuman. - extremely difficult to find the hotel as it is behind another hotel (Marriott Courtyard). Hiding at a dark corner.

It may be listed as an Airport Hotel, but it is a good fifteen minutes away. And the shuttle isn't the most reliable form of transportation. We took a $12.00 taxi back to the airport. I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport,had a pool, breakfast and provided shuttle service to the airport. We were returning from a cruise and needed overnight accomodations. There was no shuttle from the Port of Miami ($40) taxi. Our flight was 7am the next morning. I was very disappointed as I normally stay at this hotel when it was Fairfield Inn, but it has surely run down.I went there first and was told no rooms and then only room with one bed, so I went to dinner at Red Lobster around a few blocks away and then I went online as most of the other hotels nearby was full and I got a room with the two beds I needed […] about 1 hour later online at the the same Quality Inn only to get a surprise of my life , the room was smelly small and claustrophobic, bathroom and toilet was not what I am accustomed to at Fairfield Inn. The Airport pickup is a farce, had to wait for over an hour and a half, and make two reminder calls before I got picked up by a Hampton Inn hotel coach.The small lobby was crowded and only one staff member was looking after everything there. The hotel is, compared to other airport hotels, pretty far away away. The shuttle only picks you up when you call them, don´t forget the phone number. It was hard for us to find sleep, it feels like the interstate is running trough your room. There are better places to stay at MIA.

Habitaciones muy estrechas y baño viejo y en regular estado. Personal de check in poco amable y no bilingue. Mucho ruido por estar al lado del aeropuerto y de grandes autopistas. Pocas opciones para escoger en el desayuno y no muy bueno.
