"So much noise!"
Look, the hotel is not bad. Even the location, if you want to stay in Doral, not bad either. THE HORRIBLE THINGS ARE: Some building with no elevators and some right on the street where THOUSANDS of trucks passes every day, all day long. We stayed in this hotel before our Carnival Cruise and it was PERFECT for 2 young couples to share. the location was perfect for walking to eat or get last-minute or forgetten items at Wal-Mart/Sam's Cluib just around the corner. This is the second time staying at this hotel.First time great. Recent visit not so good. Hot breakfast bar both days,had no hot food.Saturday had to wait 30 minutes for food with over an hour remaining for breakfast.Sunday was even worse.The staff wasn't even working on getting hot food .Didn't stay went to McDonalds instead.Will have to think twice […] on staying here again. We just wanted to spend the night in the Miami area and we knew we would have a car. The hotel was very easy to get to, and close, and had free parking. Service was just fine. The rooms were rather spacious and very clean, the linens and mattresses spotless. It was really convenient to have the kitchenette. The pool was highly enjoyable - and though […] we didn't use the courts, they were there. Free breakfast was surprisingly varied and enjoyable. Overall it served its purpose really well for what we needed and I would recommend it if you are looking for a cheap way to spend the night around Miami. Two warnings: 1- it is really close to the airport, and light sleepers will notice it!, 2-if you want something more eclectic, romantic, or memorable (say with a view), then maybe look for some other option. When I arrived to the hotel the front desk person was very friendly, we were checked-in in about 6 to 8 minutes.
