The Fort area is the central point of Mumbai. It was here that the commercial and administrative activities were largely concentrated in the past. Even today some of the main financial and other offices are lodged in this area. Churchgate area is in close proximity to Nariman Point, one of the most developed areas in Mumbai. Churchgate gets its name from the famed Churchgate Railway Station. Horniman Circle is the main focus of the Fort area. The Gothic and Victorian buildings in the Fort area highlight the history of the British Empire. Town Hall, an imposing neo-classical construction is located overlooking the Horniman Circle. Those with an interest in Indian art will want to visit the Jehangir Art Gallery, a well-known exhibition space in Mumbai, next to the Prince of Wales Museum. Other prominent landmarks include the Flora Fountain, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (previously Victoria Terminus), the Municipal Corporation building, and the University of Mumbai with the Rajabai Clock tower.

"Horrible, Stay away"
Horrible, its on the 3rd floor of a run down building and they don;t have internet and there isn't a internet cafe anywhere near the hotel, even though the guy at the front desk will tell you there is one across the street or 5minutes down the street, its a lie. Its shared bathrooms and the bathrooms are not clean at all and when I finally was able […] to get into the bathroom it smelled like someone had just smoked weed. The room is really small and barely has enough room for the beds really nothing else. The beach is across the street but besides that your not near anything of interest. We were suppose to stay 3 nights in this hotel but only stayed the first night because we had gotten in late to Mumbai and the next morning we checked out and went to another hotel near the Gateway of India which was way better. Hotellet var et kæmpestort rod. Det var under gennemgribende renovering under opholdet hvilket der ikke blev informeret om inden. "Flur hui Zimmer pfui"
Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Leider haben sämtliche Zimmer Schimmel an decken und Wänden, die Bettwäsche wirkte nicht sehr sauber und Klamm. Abends spät und früh morgens wurde sich lauthals auf dem Flur unterhalten. Die Lage war gut, aber mehr Vorteile bietet das Hotel nicht.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
