For me, Grand Residency Hotel was indeed a heavenly escape in a busy city. The hotel is beautiful and is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and... helpful. The breakfast was slightly different every day, good variety and absolutely delicious. You can also order food round the clock. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel, its at minimum 4 star or even 5. Their attention to detail is excellent. In the morning they give each room a free quality newspaper and after cleaning the room they provide complimentary bottled water and a snack, eg fruit or homemade biscuits. Location is very good. The staff try to offer a good service. Internet costs 600 Rps a day per computer - too expensive when everyone in the family has a PC. Breakfast buffet could be better. Would recommend as a place to stay and would rate it better if the Internet was free.

the hotel itself is comfortable and convenient in location, but the staff could not be less accommodating. due to urgent business commitments, i needed to fly out for a night and then return to the hotel. i was refused a cancellation or refund by the hotel and had to pay for a night i did not use. Also, my departing flight was at 2am, and check out […] time was stipulated for 2pm.
