In whole one night during the stay, we experienced a blackout at the hotel. Even though the hotel promised us to reimburse the fee for the night, we haven't the money back yet 2 weeks after the stay...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Checked out after one night - No Customer Service"
Worst experience ever...hotel and company reps failed to provide truthful information via e-mail and phone. During our check in the clerk failed to inform us that the lounge and fine dining restaurant by the beach were closed and may not open until the second to last day of our trip. The clerk also failed to inform us that the computers the hotel provided […] for guests were not working. Finally, the clerk failed to tell us that the restaurant that was open didn't open until 6pm. We discovered all of these things when we went to the lounge by the beach and discovered it was closed. Room service took 90 minutes. During our wait for our food we called three to check on our food and twice no one answered the room service phone, the front desk phone or the operator phone. When our food was delivered the bill was in Euros even though we informed the room service order taker that we would be paying in cash with US dollars. It took another 15 minutes to get a corrected bill and change.Staffing was not an issue because the front desk had plenty of people (5) working when we checked in. We were told later the hotel had numerous cancellations and only had between 20 - 30 rooms occupied. We asked to speak with the manager twice on the day of our arrival but were never connected to him until I was at the front desk checking out after one night.
