The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.

The only problem was parking, they had limited spots available so had to park on the street. Other than that its a great hotel in a great location, will probably be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"river view rooms worth the extra $"
A very pretty area with a great view and located just above several bars and restaurant including Toast restaurant( a favourite local brunch stop). In a very posh n residential area..great place for evening riverside walks , people watching. Saw swans and yachts/ kayaks passing .Located very near from chemists supermarket and wine shop. A minor complaint […] ..third day housekeeping proved a little stretched. Also room had a slight food smell when windows closed. However that didn't bother me at all as I kept windows open every night to enjoy waking to cool breezes and great views . A definite recommendation and much better value than other 4/5 star hotel chains . Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
