"A little disappointing"
There was inconsistency in the service provided by staff - particularly at the front desk. Housekeeping staff were always polite and were receptive to needs. We needed to ask for things that were missing eg. kettle for the room, room service menu (and we were in a suite). I recently stayed at the Golden Phoenix during the last week of October. Overall, the trip was great, the hotel was decent but definitely overpriced considering the quality of rooms.
