Simply walk outside to feel the sun on your face at the white sand beach. Alta Vista De Boracay has an outdoor pool, a steam room, and a children's pool. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. This beach resort offers a restaurant, a poolside bar, and a bar/lounge. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. The staff can provide wedding services, tour assistance, and secretarial services. Additional amenities include a concierge desk, an arcade/game room, and barbecue grills. A good hotel for a couple of days. No direct access to the beach, but free bus to White Beach and Puka Beach. Full during New Year (service is still ok) but almost empty during other days (service is much better). Breakfast could be better, but this is due to many guests. "Good clean quiet, not the most modern facilities"
This is a good place to stay if you want a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable rates. It's clean and quiet, and the staff are all very friendly. The pool is open all day, and very clean. The only drawbacks are the facilities are a little dated, the bathrooms could use some improvements, the shower heads are kind of poor, and hot water can be short in […] duration, especially if your room is full and the people in the next room use the shower at the same time. Also, might want to bring your own towels, as I stayed in a room with two other people, and never did get more than one set of towels for the three of us. This hotel is not directly on White Beach, which is the main draw of Boracay, and though there is a regular shuttle service between the hotel and the beach, it can be a pain waiting for it, so plan accordingly. However, being off the beach a ways makes for a VERY quiet and restful atmosphere, so there is that as a balance. Also, even though WiFi in the rooms is listed as available on the hotel website, it isn't. So don't be like me and think you can go without a working phone and still keep in touch with family at home over the internet, as you will find it to be very difficult to accomplish. "Alta Vista de Boracay is a lovely place to stay"
Overall, the hotel was a nice place to spend a couple of weeks in Boracay. It is away from the main road of the downtown area, but the regular shuttle buses were easy to use and aside from all the overly eager Asians who were afraid they might miss the bus, it was better than using trikes or renting. The staff were really the best part of the stay […] with everyone being very friendly and helpful with questions or reservation matters. The food was average, but there is plenty of good eats along White Beach. The rooms were comfortable enough, though the beds are a bit hard and the bathrooms a bit old. Still, it was kept clean and fresh. Only issues were with the wireless Internet in the rooms. We could only use it without problem on the balcony or near the door. Other areas of the room were spotty. It is free in the lobby, but with the constant music and people waiting for the shuttle bus every hour - it got a bit noisy.... It is far from the beach, so you need to wait for the shuttle, which is scheduled every hour. They should schedule the shuttle every 30 minutes to be more convenient. The staff is nice but not impressive (I asked for extra towels and never got them). "Great hotel but not close to the beach"
We stayed at Altavista for 7 nights and the hotel itself is great, we booked the loft and everything was perfect, the beds were really comfortable, the balcony had a great view, the food and the buffet breakfast were very good. Also not expensive at all, compared to the restaurants in the white beach. the only problem with the hotel could be the location, […] they have free shuttles going to D'mall every hour (startrting at 740am I think), there is no shuttle at 12:40. The shuttle takes 15 to 20 minutes and it leaves from D'mall as soons as everyone is in, they won't wait because of the traffic on that place. If your ok with doing this everyday then stay here, we got used to it very soon and when we wanted to go back to the hotel and we didn't want to wait we'd just take a tricycle and they should not charge more than 150 pesos. Also the shuttle (almost all of them) have AC, whic is very nice, there ws one without it and it was too hot to handle. On request, the hotel provides shuttle to Puka beach which is very quiet and relaxing, there are some huts from the hotels that use this beach but there are no facilities and there is a family that lives there and I believe they charge to use their bathroom. The service at the hotel is great and everyone is always happy to help. Wifi is free at the lobby and restaurant but is very slow specially when there are tons of people using it. "Fantastic spot for a relaxing island holiday"
My wife and I stayed here and had a fantastic time. Room was spacious, clean and had a balcony, which was a plus. Staff were incredibly friendly and the location superb. While it's not right in the heart of the action, that's the appeal. They run regular free shuttles to D'Mall and because you're high up on the mountain with few hotels nearby, you […] have more space and fantastic views from their infinity pool. You also get access to Puka beach, a private beach very nearby, which is much more beautiful than White beach. If you go to Puka, I wouldn't recommend eating at the small restaurant there, however, as we found it to be very dirty. (And we often eat at street vendors and aren't too picky so take my word on this). While the front desk staff were also friendly and tried very hard, it was often more efficient to wait for a regular staff member rather than del with one of the many trainees as they tended not to know the answers to our questions and were a bit disorganized. The food at the restaurant was so-so but we were expecting this based on past reviews and most times ate in D'Mall anyways. Everything was clean and again, the staff were pleasant, but they lacked anything more than basic cooking skills. That said, the free breakfast was great. If you can eat in the outdoor area rather than the restaurant, I'd recommend it as the restaurant was extremely chaotic, while the outdoor area was very tranquil. 호텔 스탭들의 개인적인 친절보다 더 중요한 것이 시스템이라고 봅니다. 룸 컨디션, 비품들, 셔틀 서비스 등등 모두 잘 갖춰진 시스템입니다. 다만 룸에서의 인터넷이 비싸고, 로비나 수영장에서만 무료입니다. 셔틀은 자정까지 매시 45분에 호텔 로비에서 출발하고 정시에 버짓마트에서 출발합니다. 특히 버짓마트는 대부분의 호텔 셔틀이 비슷한 시간에 모이기 때문에 많이 혼잡하지만 직원 2명이 나와서 잘 정리해주고 안내해줘서 그점이 특히 좋았습니다... 다음에 다시 가도 알타비스타 추천합니다. 다만 중국 패키지 객들 때문에 아침 조식 시간에는 많이 혼잡하고 시끌벅적합니다. 9시 넘어서 가면 그나마 조금 한산하기 때문에 그 시간에 […] 주로 이용했습니다. 가격적인 면에서 호텔닷컴에서 좋은 가격으로 다녀왔습니다. 화이트비치와 디몰까지 거리가 멀어서 100페소씩 내고 트라이지칼을 타고 다녔습니다. 아쉬운점이있다면.. 호텔이 시내와 거리가 멀다면 셔틀을 무료로 운행해주었으면 했어요. 편도에 300페소씩 받는것은 좀 무리였습니다. 다행히 저는 영어가되어서 호텔 밑에까지 내려가 오토바이를 타서 싸게 다녔지만 다른분들은 불편하실듯.... 다른부분은 대부분 만족입니다. 다음에 또 간다면 꼭 다시 사용하고픈 곳입니다. 한가지... 화이트비치보다 차라리 호텔전용비치인 부카비치가 더 좋습니다. 사람도없고... 해변도 예쁘고.. 자체운영이라 넓은 곳에서 한국사람들 치이지 않고 오붓하게 시간을 […] 보낼 수 있는곳... 부카비치가 제일입니다. 호텔에서 잘 설명을 안해서 대부분 잘 모르더라구요... 부카비치까지의 셔틀은 무료입니다. 참고로.. 부카비치에서 해양스포츠를 하면 화이트보다 40%가량 저렴하게 이용할 수 있습니다. 흥정을 잘하면요..ㅋㅋ 암튼 좋은 호텔이었습니다. "알타비스타에서 좋은 기억을 남기고 왔습니다."
3살 1살된 두 딸과 아내와 다녀왔습니다. loft룸에 총 4박을 했습니다. 원래 필리핀의 호텔들이 가격대비 시설이 좋지 않은 데요, 그중에서도 가장 비싼 지역중 하나인 보라카이에서 상대적으로 저렴한 가격에 좋은 숙소를 잡았던것 같습니다. 장점은 직원들이 엄청 친절합니다. 이것저것 물어봤을때 모두 잘 알려주었습니다. 그리고 호텔에서 제공하는 airport sending서비스가 저렴했습니다. 1인당 450p에 가능했고, 두 아이에 대해선 추가비용도 받지 않았습니다. 다른 비치로도 셔틀을 예약해 다닐수 있었습니다. 추가비용이 들지 않았구요. balinghai beach는 조용하게 해수욕즐기기는 좋아보였습니다. 디몰까지는 1시간 […] 간격으로 셔틀서비스가 제공이 됩니다. 대충 15~20분 걸린다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 갈때는 잘 타고 갔는데 올때는 두번정도 트라이시클을 탔습니다. 한대당 100P이하로는 협상이 되지 않았습니다. 단점은 목조구조라서 그런지 개미가 많습니다. 큰놈은 아니구요, 진짜 작은 개미들이 제법 기어다녔습니다. 아이들을 물정도로 크진 않았습니다. 이 호텔을 선택한 가장 큰 이유중에 하나가 kitchenette facillity였는데, 실제로는 수저, 접시, 물병, 냉장고, 전자레인지, 물끓이기 밖에 없었습니다. 실제로 음식을 할 수 있는 냄비나 cooking plate는 없었습니다. 아무래도 화이트비치 까지의 거리가 멀다는 점은 단점입니다만, 저희가 묵었던 가격대에 저희 정도의 시설이라면, 세계 어느 나라에서도 훌륭한 편이었다고 생각됩니다. 다음에 보라카이에 가게 되면 화이트 비치에 머무를 생각이지만, 그 뒤의 방문쯤에는 다시 이용해보고 싶은 숙소입니다. 보라카이의 시끄러운 밤문화를 싫어하시는 분들, 상대적으로 저렴한 가격에 높은 숙소시설을 누리기를 원하시는 분들에게 강추입니다.
