Street side rooms are noisy - lots of drunken revelry at night. Breakfast is expensive. Otherwise this place is fine.

Very disappointing. The scaffolding gives the lobby the feel of a building site and things are not much better in the rooms - one of our party's room had a curtain rail fall down and a cupboard door come off the hinges in the space of 30 minutes. Overall a great disappointment; this hotel has a serious problem with rough bars nearby. A consistent stream of revellers exit these establishments shouting and screaming well into the early hours. If you are on business and need a good night's sleep, do not book this hotel.

Nice hotel, great location, great staff. Three problems: (1) The lights in the room were so bad that I felt like I was in a dungeon. (2) The elevators were both out of order for part of my stay, and one of the elevators was out of order all of my stay. Glad I didn't have to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs! Not the cheapest hotel in Cambridge, but one of the best, both in terms of modern conveniences and location in the heart of old Cambridge, a few blocks from the city centre and many of the colleges. The Crowne Plaza is well air-conditioned (especially by European standards) and was very accommodating about kids, allowing us to have three kids in the […] room with us (5 people total, using 2 double beds and a cot) which made the hotel very cost-effective for us. Great Position but run down and Shabby, used to be Crowne Plaza but needs major re-furb. Linen was clean but decor/carpet poor. Breakfast was cold every morning. :-(

Basic clean room, good location. i was disappointed to discover that, on checking my bank statment , the hotel had charged me for the room (which was fully paid) and a dinner I didn't have, they refunded it now but still feel disappointed and won't trust them with my card again

We stayed in this hotel for a surgical conference. The hotel was really reasonably priced and had lots of amenities. However the breakfast, parking and bar are all quite expensive. Also the lack of inclusive wifi was disappointment.

Stayed for 4 nights on business and the only comment I have is it was just 'ok'. First nights arrival the room was very cold and took several hours to warm up, the rooms are very tired looking and in need of a refurb including the very old small CRT TV. I opted not to have the breakfast at nearly 18GBP! and walked around the corner to Starbucks in the […] mornings. I only ate at the hotel once and must say it was the worst dinner I have ever had.. Chose the chicken dhansak and it was just awful, i have had better 1.99 microwave meals.. The chicken tasted horrible and the dish was just bland. Can't get more 'central', but pay for it. Housekeeping didn't respond to issue re bathroom, charged for papers without notice that there was a charge, time of Monday breakfast wasn't posted, so I missed it because is closed an hour earlier than weekend. Won't be back; will try other places, even if not as central.

Crowne Plaza Hotell i Cambridge er stort med mange fasiliteter som restaurant, bar og pub. Veldig sentral beliggenhet. Personalet var baade hjelpsomme og hyggelige. ケンブリッジ自体が小さな町なので観光の中心は徒歩で十分なのは諸々のガイドにあるとおり。 とはいえ、点在する名所を徒歩で見て歩くと夕方には足が棒のようになってしまうでしょう。その点、このホテルは市街の中心部に位置し、さまざまな名所を徒歩で散策する来訪者にとって便利な基地となると思います。 すぐ裏手に露天マーケット、ホテル正面から見て左手には大きなショッピングモール、向かい合わせに博物館、その隣はナイトクラブのRevolutionと非常に便利な立地です。 ホテルの設備はシックながら現代的です。私の宿泊した部屋はデスクにコンセント2口、LANも無料で利用でき、部屋もロンドン市内の同クラスのホテルと比べるととても広く快適でした。冷蔵庫等基本的な設備はすべてそろっていましたが、なぜかセキュリティボックスは置いてありませんでした。 なお、このホテルには2Fにカフェやレストラン、1Fにパブがありましたが、売店は無いのでちょっとした買い物をしたい場合、近所までいちいち買い物に出なければなりません。 なお、この町は多くの店の営業時間が極めて健全なため、深夜に買い物をできる店が皆無なので注意が必要です。St […] Andrews Stに出て南に1分ほど歩いたところに7:00-23:00営業のスーパーが一軒ある程度です。基本的に夜はパブなどの飲食店以外まったく営業していないと考えた方がよいでしょう。（平日はそれも23時から1時には閉店してしまいます） Read more
