This is a smaller hotel, only 55 rooms, but the rooms are well appointed with lots of wood and marble. The king-sized bed was very comfortable.There is... a microwave and small refrigerator in each room, with complementary bottled water fresh each day. There is a safe in the room large enough for a laptop for an added sense of security. Our only complaint was with the maid service. One day the maid cleaned our room but forgot to stock it with towels. The next day she stocked it but forgot washcloths. The rooms were very clean however. Hot breakfast is served daily, with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, fresh fruit and a selection of dry cereals. The only problem with this is it is the same thing every day. Would have been nice to have waffles or bacon once in a while. The hotel is located directly across the road from Woodbine Racetrack, so if you like horse racing this is the place for you. One block down is the Woodbine Mall which has a full-size amusement park inside. There is a two-storey ferris wheel and an antique carousel. There are bumper boats and lots of rides for the littler kids, including a two-story climbing structure. The hotel is very close to the airport but is well soundproofed and you don't hear airport traffic at all. Access to the 401 is pretty easy. We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. by a Hotels.com guest on 08/15/12
