Our room was very clean and tidy and made it easy to overlook the fact that we didn't have any towels, bath mats, wash cloths, coffee etc. Even the fact that we had a plasma t.v. with fuzzy stations could have been forgotten after spending a day touring Toronto.However, upon our return home, we realized that they charged us for two nights on top of […] Hotels.com's fee, which I have to say, did not make us happy. "Not good at all"
The rooms are really small, the beds are not queen size they are full and very low and uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny, can't even move in it. The hotel employees are very rude and so stingy. We asked for towels they gave us attitude both times and barely wanted to give us any. They don't have good hotel service at all. They don't have bell boys. Pros: Nice decor and clean room, convenient location (about half an hour to downtown Toronto), nice breakfast with convenient hours (7am to 10am), fast Wi-Fi, friendly front desk and amenities such as microwave, fridge, LCD TV in room, decent size room, ample parking space. The beds were not that comfortable, the pillows were hard & square shaped, worst of all the lighting in the entire bedroom & bathroom was inefficient, very dark with cast of shadows; very frustrating trying to get ready especially for a woman trying to put on makeup. "Great Bargain Clean Room"
I spent three hours researching hotels in Toronto. Since the city is so expensive, my four nights in a hotel would make or break our family's trip. I finally settled on Park Inn with some trepidation since this was my first time to Toronto and nothing was familiar. But it was the just about the best price in hotels.com and I felt I couldn't pass that […] up. It IS near the airport, but that convenience for air travelers didn't matter to me since we drove to Toronto. In fact, that was one reason for concern while sitting at my desk in the U.S. Upon arrival we found that the neighborhood is busy industrial. But like all Toronto it is a clean and safe place, not like the rusty U.S. Midwest where we live. We were thrilled with what we found when we got inside the hotel! Clean, even new, conditions all throughout the hotel from lobby to room to king sized bed to bathroom and fixtures. Flat screen TV. Smoke free all throughout hotel. Friendly attentive staff. And we couldn't hear traffic noise from the highway or the airport. The only average thing about our stay was that the lobby is average size and the breakfast is standard for this priced hotel (dry cereal, toast, yogurt, watered down orange juice). But hey, who cares? We were looking for a spotless room not a restaurant or a place to sit in a spacious lobby all day. If you want to save yourself three hours of research on the web trying to find the cleanest, nicest stay for the cheapest price, stop now and book your room here. This hotel is okay if there are compelling reasons other than the hotel itslf to choose it. The hotel itself is musty although it seems to be new construction. Overall the hotel was very nice and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was appreciated and the selection was adequate. We found the lighting in the room to be too dark, particularly in the bathroom. We had the King bed room and were consistantly given only one washcloth. The front desk manager told […] us that this was probably due to the type of room. Have they not heard of couples sharing a kingsize bed? Our room window looked out onto an interior "ballroom" which made opening the curtains uncomfortable. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. Park Inn was a great value - clean, comfortable, close to the airport and major roads. We went downtown to a Jays game and to the zoo the next day. Being close to the 427, 401 and 407 made these trips easy. The next morning, we took our daughter and granddaughter to the airport which was only a short drive away. Breakfast, consisting of cereal, toast, […] jams/honey/peanut butter, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs and coffee, juice and milk (included), was quite adequate. Staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms are not large but are well equipped, and the wireless internet in the rooms is a plus. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to stay, you should try this hotel.
