"Overnight for the Radiohead concert"
This was a very nice hotel in regards to my room. I had a single king size bed which was very comfortable. The room had all the amenities that I expected (Coffee maker, big screen TV, refrigerator, etc.). The bathroom was very clean with a nice selection of toiletries and a good supply of towels. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby, […] though, was rather spartan and small with just a few places to sit down and relax. There was a bar/restaurant available but I did not go there to eat. I was there for the Radiohead concert and the TTC bus stop was just a short walk through the parking lot which was shared with an office building. The concert was cancelled so I had a lot of free time. I was within close driving distance to the Toronto Int'l Airport area and had many other hotels,restaurants, bars and the Woodbine Race track and Casino. I didn't expect for this hotel to have fast check in and check out. It was a breeze and smooth sailing. A nice hotel located in a quiet and seemingly safe neighborhood. Everything was great except there were no power outlets available within comfortable reach. The hotel is located in an industrial area and isn't close to many amenities. It is well maintained and the staff were very helpful. We booked this hotel online and found a good deal through hotels.com it was z good location for our purpose of coming to Toronto. The front desk staff did not give us our breakfast voucher and when we asked the next morning had to show proof from when we booked, it's a good thing I had it with me. The bed was the absolute worst it was sunk in the middle […] like z banana my husband and I kept rolling into each other. We stayed in room 1021 . We thought the rest of the hotel was clean and even our room except the bed! The lounge worker was great and kept the kitchen open late so we could eat. I was not impressed with the front desk manager. I booked this hotel on expedia not knowing which hotel I was going to get. I saw that it had parking and shuttle to airport. I booked it and found out that the parking was only for 1 night and 3 rooms of us were flying away for a week. She wanted $40 a night extra for parking that long. No swaying from […] this. She didn't want to deal with me at all and put me on to an Expedia agent. After he talked to her, again, not swaying. Everything was great except for the free wifi highspeed internet. It was slower than a dial up. I was very frustrated and gave up.
