When I first arrived the front desk clerk was pleasant and attentive. The lobby area looked clean and organized. There is no pool, but there was a hot tub for guests to use, it looked rather sizeable and was just off the lobby. There is an exercise room, but I did not have time to see it. I laid over at this hotel, flying in late one night and leaving first thing the following morning, so can only comment on the customer service at the desk and on the ride from and to the airport, and on the the room itself, all of which were great. Eventhough the hotel is located near the air port, it was very scilent inside he hotel. In the evening, it seems there was no flight taking on-off in the airport. Loved this hotel, very clean and very comfortable. You cannot beat the rate and they have a free shuttle to the airport which is about 10 minutes away. If you are planning on shopping or anything you definately need a car as there is nothing close to this hotel except other hotels and the airport. "It WAS almost perfect, but!"
I was very satisfied when I was staying there. It was just perfect before I got a phone call from them. I got the call who is very rude. He asked e who was stayed the room 115 and asked about the damage of the wall, it has some hole. I said the room had it when we arrived. OMG!!!after that, he was starting blame me. I explained that we arrived there […] midnight(actually 12:30am) and it looked kind of old. but he told me 'do you know we working 24 hours? Why didn't you tell us when you find it?' i said I thought you guys already knew it because its not too small. I explained that I stayed with pregrant lady and we arrived really late night. even we tried, we cant make it. but he just kept saying ' why didn't you tell us know it when you check out' didnt we escape from there when we checked out? no. we were wating our shuttle at there . he said' we trust your said even you did, because we trust our guest. so is it fine?' excuse me? 'if its not fine we will charge you tthe damage fee it will be charged your credit card' OMG cant you imagine that? The hotel itself is nothing special but in acceptable condition. The staff however in my experience is uncooperative and apathetic about any concerns you address. Another thing anyone booking here should know is that they will charge you a fee if you're not out exactly at the check out time. I believe the fee is 60$ but I'm not sure. The front desk staff are always friendly and efficient. As a fiequent client they are always willing to upgrade my accommodations if available. Although the complimentary breakfast is basic, the wait staff are eager to please and the facilities are clean and pleasent. Often use the long term parking available (extra cost) and take the free shuttle service […] to and from the airport. It may be a bit far from downtown. It takes 20 minutes to the airport road junction bus stop. Buses are less frequent at the nearest bus stop on Sunday. The front desk was very helpful and informative especially for somebody who came to Toronto the first time. It takes 1 hour on bus to the Eglinton West subway station and 20 minutes to Spadina station. […] The distance from downtown was my main concern when I made the reservation. J'avais réservé expressément une chambre calme. Elle donnait sur un golf, donc très bien. Pas de bruit de climatisation ou de chauffage. Sauf qu'elle jouxtait l'ascenseur. Et là...bruit du moteur, bruit des portes, bruit des clients. Personnel de la réception très courtois et serviable ainsi que les personnes assurant la navette aéroport. Attention! […] Vous n'avez droit à la navette qu'à votre arrivée et une fois lors du départ. Autrement c'est bus (dix minutes à pied mais bon, il neigeait) ou alors taxi. Petit déjeuner abondant mais sans saveur. Dans le restaurant attenant à l'hôte et accessible directement par le hall. Là le personnel est indépendant de l'hôtel. Il est indifférent aux clients et continue sa conversation à votre arrivée et pendant que vous déjeunez. Cependant diligent à débarrasser les tables. Pour ce qui est des chambres, elles sont agréables et aux standards d'espace nord américain. Plutôt spacieuses donc. Salle de bain bien équipée, savons, shampooings et serviettes en abondance.
