This was a very nice boutique hotel, is an absolutely wonderful location.The staff was very nice, and the rooms were roomy, updated, and comfortable. We were able to walk to almost all attractions and restaurants. Parking was a little steep at $24.00 a day, but other than that, this hotel is highly recommended!

The only possible negaitve I could come up with was that some of the furniture seemed a little dated. Other than that minor point, everything was perfect. The hotel is in a great central location. I had booked this hotel back in March for Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to celebrate our 28th anniversary in Toronto. When we checked in, the room was not ready. When we did entered our room, there were 2 twin beds, not one queen size bed that I reserved. I called the front desk and Mark answered. He told me because the hotel was completly booked, […] nothing for Saturday but will check for Sunday. I never received a follow up call from the front desk the next day. I extremely unhappy with what the hotel did to us. I can understand if I booked the room at the last moment but I had booked the room back in March, no excuse. The hotel got my money this time but next time I'll stay at Toronto, I'll take my business to another hotel. FYI - I have been in Tornoto twice this year. Read more

Best thing about the Cambridge was that it was only a block away from Yonge street. Plenty to see and do within walking distance. Nothing special about room but comfortable enough and clean enough. Didn't try the restaurant, not even for breakfast. Sounded like $$11.00 for a Continental Breakfast if desired, too steep for our blood.

I recently stayed at the C-S and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. (They even changed our American dollars into Canadian dollars for us since the banks were closed.) We are canadians living in the US who flew in to see a concert. We picked the Cambridge because it was in walking distance and because it was a suite room. It was great! A great spot for a weekend getaway..close to the St. Lawrence market area, comfortable suite hotel with excellent service. Rooms are cozy and comfortable and a top floor hot tub and work out facility are a nice addition. There is even a bike rack right outside the entrance and parking on site.

This is a fabulous hotel. This is our second stay here this year. We stayed in the Delux suite which is the lower cost option. We really enjoy the separate bedroom, living room and bathroom. This hotel is very convenient and walking distance from everything. It was a great location because you weren't right in the busiest section of Yonge St., but you were close enough that you could walk to everything. I do so much walking I lost weight. The only compliment I had is that I seemed to get more information from the bartender who was very helpful than I received from the concierge. excellent location within walking distance of major attractions. front desk very helpful. room comfortable beyond expectations. only concern is bathroom shower head. low pressure and water sprayed everywhere. otherwise room was beyond expectations. Excellent value for money. I have stayed in more expensive rooms without amenities like this.

Absolutely fantastic hotel- our room was a great size, and well stocked with crockery and cutlery meaning we were able to get takeaway and eat in (much cheaper than having to call room service in other hotels!). I found this hotel on hotels.com after the first hotel we booked 'upgraded' our room to a business suite on a low floor...not quite what I had in mind for my honeymoon. Cambridge Suites had one room left, and it was great! The room itself had a very nice layout and a good view of downtown. We were at Cambridge hotel for the week end and we enjoyed our stay. Staff personnel were nice and wIlling to help. The suite had a nice living room and a bedroom. Each of them had a large tv. There was a fridge and mini bar. Bathroom was also nice, with hair dryer, and a mirror with magnifier. Nice decoration and very cosy. There is also a nice spa […] and sauna, but we did not use them. This was our first time staying at Cambridge Suites, and we booked it primarily for the location and the special rate we were able to obtain. Great location for the theatres and excellent restaurants. Able to park car in their underground parking and not touch it until we left next morning - a huge plus for Toronto. A few negatives however: - the […] air conditioner didn't cool the room as much or as quickly as we would have liked, despite putting the setting way down. - the shower head needed a good dose of CLR or something like it! It simply dribbled ... one doesn't expect that when paying these rates (even special rates.) - the smoke detector was missing! Casing was screwed to the ceiling, but main components were gone! (Luckily there wasn't a fire whilst we were there!) I brought all these things to the attention of front desk, and receptionist apologized and made a note - hopefully they will be cleared up for next guest. If you stay here, there is a fantastic all-day breakfast place (Sunrise Grill) just a few doors down!! Read more

from the time you enter the hotel until the moment you leave the service is great. the staff leave you with the feeling you want to come back and we will.
