Towering 27 stories over downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the Delta Chelsea Hotel sits one block from the historic Canon Theatre and College Subway Station. The hotel is two blocks from the Toronto Eaton Centre and the Elgin Theatre. The University of Toronto, along with the scenic green grasses of Queen's Park, can be found three blocks away. Pearson International Airport lies 26 kilometers from the hotel.
The hotel is close to trendy shopping and entertainment districts, the Delta Chelsea Hotel has partnerships with CanStage, Soulpepper Theatre, Canadian National Exhibition and CN Tower, and therefore, it can arrange tickets for guests.

The Delta Chelsea Hotel is home to an arcade room featuring pinball, football, air hockey and a pool table. The hotel also offers full and half-day supervised activities for children ages 5-12. Several dining options can be found at the Delta Chelsea Hotel, including the Bb33 Bistro and Brasserie. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. An airport shuttle is available upon request (surcharge).

The 1,590 guestrooms at the Delta Chelsea Hotel are housed in two, 27-story towers. All the brightly-decorated guestrooms feature satellite television, multi-line telephones, complimentary wired (high-speed) Internet access, complimentary toiletries, complimentary newspapers, bathrobes and coffeemakers.

The Market Garden - Market-style food emporium with seasonal outdoor patio. Dine in or take-out. Homemade soups, salads, sandwiches. Gourmet pizzas. Specialty coffees. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Monarchs - Sports bar with big-screen TVs. DJs and dancing on weekends. Pub fare and huge selection of premium, domestic, and international beers.
Elm Street Lounge - Lobby lounge. Specialty cocktails, martinis. Indian curry buffet lunch Monday-Friday.
At the hotel's Deck 27 Health Club, guests can work out on a wide array of cardio and weight-training equipment while enjoying panoramic city views. The club also includes an outdoor sundeck, saunas, and locker rooms with showers and towels. An indoor pool and spa tub are also on the 27th floor. Guests must be at least 19 years old to use the health club and pool.
The second-floor Family Fun Zone features an all-ages indoor pool with a four-story corkscrew waterslide. Children can improve their swimming skills under the parent-supervised Delta Dolphin Swim Program. The Family Fun Zone also includes a spa tub and sauna, as well as the Starcade Games Room and the Children's Creative Centre.

The Delta Chelsea is a very nice hotel in a fabulous location. We were able to walk almost everywhere, which was great. The room was lovely and very clean (though it could have used more towels). The hotel also offers great amenities including bars and two pools - one for families and one for adults only. Both were excellent, especially the corkscrew […] waterslide! The concierge was also very helpful in providing directions to local attractions. My only complaint is that we were not informed ahead of time of a somewhat substantial per-night parking charge in addition to the room rate. We would have stayed there either way, but would have preferred to know about the extra expense in advance. Hotel better suited for kids and conferences. Too big and impersonal, and worn around the edges (furniture, bathtub, etc.). Concierges not too helpful. Bell staff cordial. Great varied and fresh food -though pricey- at Market Garden. Realize that to get the $29 parking rate you must self-park; otherwise valet is $39/day. "small on space, big on service"
had a wonderful time. rooms were a little tight and could use some up- dating but was very clean with comfortable beds. Food in the market place was fine but we were dissappointed that the outdoor bar-b-que sold out early. The adult pool area was very nice and you can't beat the location. "Delta Chelsea Hotel, Toronto, ON"
I stayed at the Delta for a full week, and grew more disgruntled as each day passed. Construction across the street is loud, and begins just before 7 am, and ends around 6 pm, 6 days of the week. The room initially appeared to be quite clean, but I became more concerned with a LOT of flying bugs (not fruit flies, so they were ???). There was no food/drinks […] in the room that would entice them. The shower/tub indicator did not work, and the entire phone system was very screwed up. For example, I would press "reservations" and would land in housekeeping. The difficulty with the phone also meant that calls transferred to my line never arrived at my room - the phone would ring, I would answer, there would be no one on the line, and no message left. I reported this problem 4 times during my stay, and nothing was done about it. I have stayed at this hotel at least 25 times in the past many years, and sadly, will likely not return, based on this experience. I love the location of the hotel, and am generally very easy to please - clean, quiet and safe are my operating parameters. As such, I would not recommend the Delta to others. Great location but the hotel is feelling a bit old, needs some renovation. The ice machine on the 11th floor is broken, had to traverse up to 12 for each bucket but luckily one can use the stairs, no alarm so no need to wait on the elevator for one flight. "Great stay"
A couple of issues, none of which would prevent me from staying here again: pool (Deck27) was closed when I went to swin. They had closed at 1pm that day. Not sure how they might've informed their guests about this: maybe a voicemail to all htoel guests? It's annoying to go home early on an overcast day to go swimming, only to find out that the pool […] is closed, so I should've just stayed out.. Other issues: closet door not properly attached, no washcloths (basically, not enough towels provided upon check-in). Biggest issues was with bell hop, who kept leaving some bags in the lobby while he went to put other bags in storage. Some of those bags could easily have been swiped, and I felt the need to baby-sit mine until he got to them and I actually saw him take them out of public view. I recently stayed at the Delta Chelsea with some friends for a birthday weekend in Toronto. I chose this hotel because of the excellent location in the city. As I was checking in, I mentioned to the concierge that I was celebrating my birthday and within a few minutes of our arrival in the room, we received a bottle of wine and strawberries with a lovely […] birthday note. I booked and then called the hotel to confirm an accessible room. There was two wheelchairs and an attendant so the room they had for all of us didn't allow us to move freely with our chair so they kindly moved us into a suite which was amazing!!!! "Surprised and Disappointed... then happy again"
When i book a hotel, i do thorough research, so i was vastly surprised at the overall dinginess of the room i got. the lights were from the 70's (not bright) the curtains looked like they had not been cleaned in 20 years, the bathroom small and dingy(includeda spider) the TV was from the 80's and the dresser was worn and from the 70's. I was physically […] unable to open the Sliding glass door to the balcony. For the $ i paid, this hotel was not worth the price. After i explained my surprise and disappointment to the Concierge I was moved to a "newer" room which was so much better. The concierge and a few of the check in people were very lovely. the new room was great and the review above does not apply to the new room.
