Renaissance Toronto Downtown Hotel

We had nothing but great service. We got a room facing into Rogers Centre to watch the Rays vs. Jays game. Then headed to Niagra Falls after the game. Only paid 35 round trip for a bus that left China Town (Safeway Tours) suggestions by the hotels concierge service which was very helpful. Rooms are very dated. I requested roll a way bed 3 times at hotel and it was on my reservation. Never received it. Best thing about hotel is location.

Overall it was a comfortable stay. The location is the best part. I would skip the restaurant. Food and drinks were not worth the price unless you were there watching a Blue Jays game. Once you get past the lobby, it got better, but the lobby smelled terrible!

This hotel is in the middle of it all. Right next to the CN tower and of course connected to the ballpark. I was in town to see my baseball team take on the Blue Jays so this was the place to stay. We had an excellant time, however for the price of the room we found it not to be the best. Bedss were cozy but there was a smell in our room and the bathroom wasn't the best. Older room and not renovated like I was told it would be. I also realized I booked through an american site and would have liked the woman on the phone to tell me that.

The Internet is quite expensive if you require to have it.... We had a room overlooking the baseball field which was an excellent view. The price was very reasonable overall. Very close to the main attractions including the subway and other public transit. A very reasonable cab fare to and from the hotel via suburban or town car. Only good thing about this hotel is if you go see a game at the rogers center.Small and crappy room with no ventilation,cant open the window,fan not working in the bathroom,bad bed. Room service for the food is more expensive than 5 stars restaurant. You can hear the rooms next to you and if you make little bit of noise they send security to check the […] room. On the last night they put a bill of 250 accusing us to have smoke in the room and we never did the air inside was already so bad.
