"needs updating"
Rooms badly need updating, tv is 25 years old and bathrooms are not in line with room rates chargedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"pretty good"
Near subways and public transportation, quiet, and comfy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for money"
Was expecting a bit of an over used hotel but was pleasantly surprised in that it was not. It was in according to the rating and the breakfast buffet was good value. Rooms were clean and overall a plea sent stay. Will stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Bathrooms are too small"
We enjoyed the stay. The hotel is kid-friendly, staff are pleasant and helpful and the food is good. I am not sure we will return because we found the bathroom to be too small. It really is tight in there. PJR, OttawaGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotel seems quite dated, despite publicity that speaks of a major upgrade now being completed. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is over-priced. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Works if you want to be near Yorkdale Mall, but if this isn't your reason for being there, consider whether something else might serve you better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"not bad"
it would be nice this know if the hotels do continental Breakfasts or not in the bookings descriptions of the hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean. Service and breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The front desk service was not polite and not very helpful. In the room the central air very loud we could not sleep. Only the location is good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient but in need of attention"
The hotel iteself is super convenient just off the highway and the proximity of it to the mall, Yorkdale was really nice but the hotel itself is in major need of renovations. It is dark, drab and outdated. The elevators didnt work and we were forced to use the dirty service elevators which were used to transport food waste and other maintenance things. […] Upon arrival we were put into one room that was dark and stuffy and had no outside windows but rather looked onto an atrium in the middle of the hotel. The rooms facing the outside of the building are brighter and have balconies which allows you to open the door and get fresh air in. The rooms themselves though are old and seem worn and dirty. "great service, but..."
the overall service was great from the room attendents to the front dest to the restaurant servers, but the accounting department needs some serious improvment. We were told that a $50/day charge would be held on my credit card and we were staying for 5 days. By the end of the second days they had maxed out my credit card by "holding" more than $500. […] 3 days after getting home and I'm still waiting for some of the holds to be removed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice pool, great location, but expensive extras"
The pool, fitness area, dining area were nice. My room had loud air conditioner with wet carpet around it - the bathroom didn't have had a ventilation fan. I found the cost for in-room movies ($15.99), parking for visitors staying longer than 2 hours ($9), and bar fridge rental ($15/day) too high. The location was great for shopping (Yorkdale shopping […] centre across the street) and subway travel (Yorkdale station - 10 minute walk through shopping centre). Unfortunately nearby 401 off ramps in both directions were under construction. The staff were friendly and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"not worth the price"
For the price of the hotel, I at least though that there would b a fridge or microwave in our room. Also would've been nice to check in a bit early, I heard a lot of other people could, but no reason why I couldn't.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was a little disappointed that I had to pay for local calls from my room. I thought that the daily parking charge was not fair. The parking was not underground or covered. It was not valet parking, so what is the daily charge for? As a hotel guest coming from another city one would expect parking to be included in the cost of your room. Can management […] answer the following question: If someone is staying at your hotel do you expect your guests to park elsewhere? Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
