"Carmel Marathon Event"

"Cleaning team needs help"

I was pleased with the quality of the room, breakfast, etc. I was unhappy because the hair dryer in my room did not work. I went to the desk to get another and the ONE spare they had was given to someone else. 45 minutes later the desk clerk took me to a dirty room so that I could use their dryer. Hotel was good overall. The only thing I ask them to do is routinely check the whirlpool/hot tub daily there were skin particles floating in the water talk about gross.. I was pleasantly satisfied with this hotel. I didn't know what to expect because I booked it online, but I was very happy with our stay. It's a little hard to find as Mapquest gave us incorrect directions (and the front desk clerk stated that it's common with GPS's too), but it's in a nice, quiet location away from the congestion of the city and the […] drive to the Children's Museum was very easy. "Clean and nice hotel"
As others have said: clean, clean, clean. In a nice area of town. We had a clogged sink when we arrived, but the staff put us up in a suite as compensation for the inconvenience, without us having to ask. Overall a nice place and would stay there again. But... Hard to get to! You can see it from Meridian Street, but it's not obvious how to get there. Weekend Stay. Check in was uneventful, staff was attentive, yet kept the process going with a steady stream of check-ins. Room was nice and clean. "Fine for pleasure visit."
The hotel is very nice and clean however, the internet access did not work for the four days we were there. We contacted AT&T without result and the hotel was no help. This property is easily the best Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The hotel was immaculate. The lobby exuded warmth in its furniture and decor. The front desk was located unobtrusively off to the right, barely noticeable as a welcoming 'living room' greets you first. Check-in was speedy, courteous if not friendly. "Good Hotel for Carmel for conference."
The breakfast at this hotel is really good. Waffles, eggs, potatoes, all kinds of healthy cereal, yogurt and friendly staff. Pool is nice and the hot tub was nice and hot. The venting system must not be great though, because the clorinated air made my eyes red and itchy. We had a suite type of room and it was very clean. We like to have a separate sleeping […] area from our kids with a door that closes and this suite had it. Big refrigerator and eating area for the 4 of us. The fold out sofabed was very uncomfortable. This was a great hotel for being close to the City of Carmel's recreational facitlity.
