Room was clean and satisfactory on most counts. Did note the plumbing in the bathtub was not solidly mounted within the wall which worried us a bit, but it all worked fine. As for location, it would be fairly well-situated for visits to Providence, RI, but it wasn't such a great choice for us as we were primarily interested in visiting Newport, Fall […] River and Cape Cod. But, it wasn't a huge problem since the hotel is located so near the interstate off-ramp. Complimentary breakfast was fine. I would recommend this hotel if its location meets your needs. Read more

Stayed one night with family. Two rooms. Overall experience was excellent. The hotel was clean and comfortable while the staff provided great service. The breakfast was also very good.

We were pleased with the general appearance of this hotel, our room was pleasant and neat. The level of service was exceptional. We would have preferred a larger indoor pool though, the present one almost seems tiny. Also, a decent sized, flat-screened tv in the rooms would have been nice. Not many attractions nearby.

My wife and I wanted to see the 4th of July Parade in Bristol, RI and enjoy the festivities there. We had booked a room ahead of time in Bristol but they changed conditions on us, leaving us without accommodation just before the holiday. I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before. I was pleased with my first stay there and was just as pleased this time. The reviews I read were not all positive but I didn't have any problems. Will definitely stay at Holiday Inn Express again!

I'm a business traveler and this time went to Ma to visit my family from Maryland. Take it from me, it's clean, located near Providence (at half the rates) and Fall River and can find nothing wrong with the hotel. The breakfast had fresh eggs, bacon and sausage pattys which were delicious plus many other items you'd enjoy. When I go back go Ma I will […] stay at the HIE again. Convenient location for tourist spots-Battleship cove and Whaling Museum(a gem!). Appeared new and rooms were spacious and clean. Service friendly. Trouble finding a good restaurant for dinner.

This is an excellent alternative to the very expensive hotels in Newport. Located 25 minutes from downtown with a friendly staff it's only drawback is the aforementioned thin walls. We could clearly hear the people in the next room's conversation. You could even hear them shift position in bed [now that's thin walls.]

We picked it to visit Newport without the high Newport hotel rates. It was a little further than we expected. Inn is a newer one and well taken care of. Desk clerk was very helpful in suggestions for dinner. Breakfast at the hotel is one of the more complete. Overall, a good choice.

A beautiful 100 % smoke free hotel. It has nice clean rooms and very ample breakfast choices. We will come again on our next vacation stay. Just know that soundproofing is a concern. You may want to take along some ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones to ensure a good night rest.

Everything about this hotel was good except for the fact that I could hear everything the people above us were doing in their room. I heard them constantly walking around, running the water, flushing the toilet etc. Very poor sleep experience due to that.

Este hotel necesita una renovacion, le hace falta mas iluminacion, una piscina sin tanto cloro, un desayuno mas variado con aparatos ( tostadora, waflera ) que sirvan y no con un rotulo "fuera de servicio". Lo demas es aceptable, las camas son bastante comodas y no es nada dificil de encontrar.
