"Less than perfect sleep"

"Good for needs, not for wants"
The hotel itself is pretty basic, and if you just need a bed and shower, you'll get what you pay for. The staff was very attentive to needs, and the location was just where we needed it. The room also came with a good amount of supplies, such as shampoo and soap, and extras, like makeup remover. However, the room was not clean at all. Specifically, […] there was a fake eyelash still stuck to the shower wall, and the bottom of the shower was stained by what looked to be hair dye. "Holiday Inn Express, Swansea"
This was a great location for us. Daughter was visiting a friend at Roger Williams College, so was close enough to go back and forth to. Hotel staff were great, clean hotel, great location to get on to interstate. A little concerned about some of the attachments of shower piping, electrical outlets, but it seemed to have been redone. Was definitely […] clean and quiet. There is a mall nearby and eateries. We wanted seafood and were referred by hotel staff to a nearby family restaurant called Kents and it was absolutely delicious. "Overnight stay."

"Moderately satisfactory"
This hotel is okay...for just a night. The walls were too thin, and we had to call down to see if the front desk could ask our neighbors to turn down their TV. It worked. The beds are so-so. Definitely not new-ish. We were on a non-smoking floor (I assume the entire place is non-smoking), but the hallways smelled like cigarettes. Not pleasant at all. "Not to bad of a place to stay"

"Thin walls but affordable"
This is an excellent alternative to the very expensive hotels in Newport. Located 25 minutes from downtown with a friendly staff it's only drawback is the aforementioned thin walls. Este hotel necesita una renovacion, le hace falta mas iluminacion, una piscina sin tanto cloro, un desayuno mas variado con aparatos ( tostadora, waflera ) que sirvan y no con un rotulo "fuera de servicio".
