Hôtel Château-Bromont

Comfortable rooms in a nice hotel. The ammentities options were good for family or couples. Several dining options a short distance from the hotel were used in lieu of upscale dining offered at the hotel. Outdoor deck had large seating area with bar and several hot tubs and a great view. Wish I had time for the golf course this trip.

My husband, 6 year old, and I really enjoyed our stay. Our little one enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and my husband and I really liked the rooftop hot -tubs. The staff were very friendly, made restaurant suggestions and even made our reservations for us since we don't speak French. The rooms are a bit outdated but the overall experience was great […] and a quick drive to the Granby Zoo. We also got a discount on our zoo tickets by buying them at the hotel. The people working at the hotel were most accomodating as my French is very weak. The Terrace has a wonderful view, with many hot tubs to choose from and a full bar!!! The breakfast buffet was worth attending.....my only complaint is the store on property does not have long hours, so we were never able to shop there for souveniers..........

Much nicer than we expected, especially the common areas and services. Used outdoor jacuzzis (4), and rarely any traffic after skiing late afternoon. Rooms are nice just a bit tight squeeze between bed and tv. Liked having two sinks in bathroom. The in-room coffee was excellent.

Overrated and too expensive for what we got. We had supper for Christmas. The servicing was so bad. We had to ask for the bread when they served us our entrées. We had to ask for the butter also. When we were eating our main course the waitress remembers that we did not get finger food and gave them to us with our main dish. The food itself was so so. […] We had friends with us that do not drink or eat any alcohol and all the main dishes had alcohol in them; mind you to chef provided a sauce without alcohol for them. But still it was not thoughtful. As for the brunch on December 25…. Really, nothing out of the ordinary. We choose to take our brunch at noon. The cook that was supposed to do the eggs for us was not there anymore (I know because my son to his breakfast at 10 am) as for the rest, nothing out of the ordinary for a Christmas Breakfast or brunch. The scrambled eggs were a preparation that was prepared in advanced. For the only big hotel in the area it was a BIG deception and will not repeat it again. My room had a cold or old cigarette smell – I guess it was a smoking room but the smell is still there to the point that I left the window wide open every time we were out of the room. Comparing quality vs. price, next year we will definitely go to Mont-Tremblant. We pay a little more but have a lot more. Read more

The Chateau is lovely, great for families or anyone wanting to get out of the city for a quiet getaway. Great pool area, facilities and grounds, also onsite restaurants with excellent food. One recommendation, when reserving, request a room away from the dumpster. We were awakened two mornings in a row before 6:00 a.m. by noisy garbage trucks.

Hotel is well located in Bromont with good size rooms. Our only issue was that the service was a little slow and clumsy. Lastly, walls between rooms are a little thin which meant that we could here children crying and playing in their rooms at 6am......

We had a 2 nights stay at Chateau Bromont in a junior suite (with mezz). We were disgusted to find out that the bathrobes had not been washed (my husband found a number of bills in the pockets). We kindly asked for your room to be done early afternoon while we were out with the kids, had it was not done.

My son and I just stayed one night, while golfing in the area. All was exactly as they said it would be, and the room, lobby and pools were very nice. We would have liked to stay longer, and maybe will next time! Great value for the price we paid..

I've read negative of this hotel before travelling to it. I arrived with a great amount of apprehension but was greatly relieved that the establishment poor reviews were unwarranted. The room was more than adequate. The TV was a bit outdated. I was expecting an HD flat screen. The bed was very comfortable allowing for a relaxing sleep. Sound of the […] running children's feet could be heard from the ceiling and proved annoying at times. The staff were courteous and friendly. Loved the terrace and its view of the well managed landscape. Never got to use the whirlpools, maybe next time. The breakfast at the Bistro was plentiful and of top quality. The Quebec ham & sausages were tasty. Overall a nice escape. The elevator on a slow day took forever. The outer court from the spa was a quiet oasis to catch some rays and some quiet. Read more

I thought the hotel was nice and so were the pools however my 11 month old is crawling everywhere and was literally black when crawling on the hotel room floor. Her feet and her legs were BLACK all the time, it was really disgusting. I had to constantly clean her.

My wife and I found the Chateau Bormont to be exceptional. The size of our room was amazingly large compared to the many,many places we have been for the same price. The outdoor hottubs overlooking the ski hills with red curtains over hanging on the canopy was breath taking and peaceful. Friendly staff and very willing to speak to you in English if […] you don't speak French. Very clean Hotel and quiet until about 8:00am when the kids go swimming and you hear them from your room because the pool is in the center of the hotel. As for food eat at the hotel instead of going out you will get more for your money except if go to McDonald's or something like that. The only fault we found was the weather was bad the weekend we went but that's not the Chateau Bromont fault. Definately I want to go back. Read more

This was my second stay here. We stayed the first time in the quiet spa section of the hotel, reserved for adults and it was much nicer. This time it was a summer family visit (for Granby Zoo) and it seems a little more rundown. The carpets everywhere were not new and had a bit of an odor. The elevators are slow and old. There are stains on the walls […] in public places (juice etc that could and should be wiped clean). Otherwise the room itself was quite comfy and spacious. They provided housecoats and towels for the pool, of which there are two (one outside, one inside, both clean). We did like the Keurig coffee machine in the room, but had to ask for more tea/coffee. The room had a minibar. There are grocery stores nearby which have prepared foods and lots of restaurants, so you don't have to bother with the limited room service. We did order breakfast and it was good. If you're just in the neighbourhood for the waterpark, zoo or to ski, it does the trick. It's convenient but not fancy. We were greeted in a courteous manner and found our room okay. The fridge was not very cold, so we reported this and another one was delivered almost immediately so that we could store our picnic in it. The bathroom sink was set in a counter that had a crack in it, and the place felt as though all the shiny newness had worn off. There was another room […] separated from ours by two locked doors. Unfortunately, the family staying there were up before we were and the happy squeals of children leaked through the two doors. Our bedside lamps rattled when the toddlers' feet hit their floor, so that at first we were convinced they were above our room! I would recommend the hotel for its beautiful surroundings, but caution people who like to sleep late NOT to take a room that has an adjoining room. Read more

This is a standard hotel at best. From the smell of chloride as soon as you walk in the lobby coming from the indoor pool, ther is only one elevator which is very slow and the musty smell in our room. Our view was of the ski resort's hill grooming equipment in the parking lot (not very nice). Our bathroom was very small and very standard. They still […] have the old tube style TV. We were in the area scouting hotels for our daughter's wedding reception and hotel accomodations for our guests.Good thing we checked this one out first as we will definitively not bring any business there. Nous avons eu la suite junior avec mezzanine. La chambre est bien dans l'ensemble, le plancher de la sdb aurait eu besoin d'un nettoyage, mais le reste était très correct. Le mobilier aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Le personnel est jeune et très courtois. L'hôtel était plein et le service rapide et efficace. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner […] à cet endroit car c'était dispendieux: 19$ par personne (nous étions 4) pour un petit-déjeuner américain.
