Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, but the pillow were a little too soft. Close to most restaurants (MacDonalds,... Kelseys, etc down the road) and a short drive to the main hwy (401). Our room on the first floor had a mini fridge and microwave, although we didn't use it. Breakfast was simple, but good enough to start the day. It was a short visit but met our expectations; would stay again. by Shannon from Washago on 03/31/13

On the outskirts of Chatham
Easy to reach, just off Hwy 401 & in a city of 43,000. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere - restaurants & businesses in the area. Chatham-Kent is a municpality that includes Tilbury, Wallaceburg, Ridgetown & Bothwell.

Clean & comfortable with all that you need
Internet is wireless & free to access with a code. Newspapers & coffee service in the Lobby. All rooms have coffee makers, hair dryers, complimentary toiletries, irons & iron boards. First floor rooms have refrigerators & microwaves as well as some on the second floor. Second floor rooms have small windows to open for the fresh night air. Local calls & parking are free for all guests.

The Comfort Inn was an ideal hotel stay. Check-in was extremely quick and the reception manager was able to offer suggestions about local restaurants and attractions, marking them on a (free) map for us. The hotel building was clean, although there's no elevator to the second floor - a staff member immediately volunteered to help with the suitcases […] though. The room was clean and fresh, with the air conditioning initially set to a sensible temperature. The complimentary toiletries in the bathroom were good, with separate face and body soaps as a nice touch. The hotel seemed quite full for some of the time of our stay, so there was an amount of noise from other guests. but nothing that was overly loud or that caused us annoyance as we were trying to sleep. Unfortunately during our stay the WC sprang a leak about 11pm (these things sometimes happen) but a call to the front desk resulted in immediate attendance and a fix. I couldn't really ask for better service! The breakfast provided was perfectly good, with a cold continental selection available. The coffee was freshly brewed and well-made. The impression I received from the staff was of a genuine desire to make our stay as pleasant as possible - we'll definitely look at staying at the Comfort Inn next time we pass through Chatham.
