Wonderful find. The Copamarina is a great hotel for those looking to be outside the very busy, touristic San Juan area. Great for families. Beautiful landscape around the hotel, colorful bushes, plenty of palm trees and the all the rooms have view on the beach. Many swimming pools.The staff is courteous and really nice. The hotel is nice but the service was not. I called the front desk about 7 times and I could not get somebody to answer the phone. The manager helped me and he made sure I enjoyed the rest of my stay after several inconvients with the service.

This hotel resort was great. The staff friendly and professional. The hotel was set up perfectly for all to enjoy. It is right on the beach with staff constantly working to make sure the beach and pool areas stay clean. It has two very nice restaurants and coffee in the room. We liked the CopaMarina Resort for its beautiful tropical and lush atmosphere. Liked the pools and being right on the beach. Loved walking out of our hotel room onto the grass and close to pools and beach. We got a nice room with the pool in front of us, so we can see our daughters swimming from our room. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious […] and top notch! The service at breakfast was warm and inviting. The only thing I didn't like about our stay was that upon check in, the front desk staff wasn't friendly at all. The beauty of the resort didn't match the service upon check in. Also there were a lot of mosquitos around the resort. Location wise, its up a long winding road and when you get to the bottom, there aren't nearby things to do. Just highway and a burger king. I think overall this was a comfortable place to stay. I did not like that the shower did not drain. Water up to our ankles in the shower. I asked it to be fixed, someone came to fix it, but still the water did not drain. We had 2 rooms and this was the case in both rooms. Lots of seaweed in the Carribean but still ok to swim and have fun. Great snorkeling […] on Gilligans Island which is a must see. Hotel staff did not tell us to bring water or food to Gilligans Island which I think they should have communicated to us. We had to go back to get more water and food. Read more

Staff were very friendly and accomodating, even allowing us to check in early so that we could catch the boat to Gilligan's Island (highly recommend it). Grounds and pools were very well maintained, and being there on a Sunday afternoon/Monday morning, felt like we had the place practically to ourselves. The hotel is very well maintained ('like-new' condition), in a very beautiful environment. Family-friendly. Although the beach is not that pretty, it is fairly close to other great beaches. Hotel has reasonable prices for water sports rentals.

Took my wife , daughter and her friends to celebrate birthday. Loved it! This place offers activities for young and old. Woud look for an opportunity go back with my wife for a nice getaway. Very relaxing...The grounds are well kept with tropical plants. I would go back and would appreciate the experience even more!

Our stay at Copamarina was lovely. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were somewhat outdated and could use some freshening up but I believe they were in the process of doing that while we were there and they were clean. The grounds were kept beautifully and maintained daily. The food at the Las Palmas bar restaurant […] was just ok. We ordered a pizza for lunch which I am sure was frozen and the chicken burger was not good. However the food at Alexander's was delightful! I had the whole fish which was yummy. Unfortunately it was very rainy(even for rainy season) while we were there but a rainy day in paradise is better than a rainy day in NE. Watch out for the bugs! All in all an excellent vacation! We had a wonderful vacation at the Copamarina. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Our room felt like a private bungalow with a porch facing the gardens. The beach adjacent to the hotel is not swimmer friendly but if you walk along the shore just a few feet down to Cana Gorda, blue waters and silky sand await. We did not take the boat to Giligan's […] Island because of our 11 month old, but the dock is on hotel property! A convenient attraction for our next stay. I have two complaints: because of the remoteness of the hotel, I felt like their convenience store should have been better stocked. Our second complaint being the dinner portion of the menu at the grill fell seriously short. An experimental chef on classic dishes should really specify the "uniqueness" on the menu. And bring your bug spray...the mosquitos are relentless. First night we were there the citronella candles were on. Second night they weren't. Candles on, Please!!! They were a big help. Read more

The Copamarina is a beautiful resort in the middle of a nature reserve. The balcony is nice to sit at and watch the palm trees, the pool and the ocean. For two days straight I got to view hummingbirds feeding. What a great time

My wife and i've had nice week at Copamarina with kids. Hotel was far away from cities and traffic jams, peaceful, clean pool areas, nice room with fridgerator and coffeemaker.. Staff was very helpfull. Breakfast buffet was missing(under 50 guest/night) so be aware for rates of ala carte breakfast.. Clean side for swimming at the beach was from hotel […] rightside about 2 minutes walking. And DONT FORGET go to Gillian Island! 5 minutes by boat, awesome small island for picnik.
