Originally we had 2 one bd unit for our 2nd and 3rd nights, but after some discussion and additional payment we kept our 2bd unit. A unit is much nicer and B unit. If we ended up staying in 2 B units, we would not have an oven or a dishwasher. Overall, very pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable, clean and spacious room. Nice view. Great hot tub. Swimming pool is kind of small and shallow. No shampoo/conditioner provided. No salt/pepper/tee, just coffee for one morning. Check out is 10:00. Kind of early. Reasonably priced. Would stay again.

While our unit was clean, spacious, and bright we found the staff to be unfriendly and not especially welcoming. It was also curious that we had to take care of our own trash and linen upon departure. We never experienced this in any other vacation facility.

nice room for the price ... location is a bit out of the loop but not impossible ... the pool was pretty much filled with screaming children all the time ... no daily servicing of the room, which isn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have the in-room coffee replaced

Overall very good facilities, decor and amenities. Was surprised that the stove consisted of double hot plates -- considered them unsafe, especially if traveling with children the stove would be a safety concern. The rest of the kitchen was very well equipped.

We chose Vacation Village because it was more reasonably priced than anything closer to Tanglewood. For what it would have cost forone- two nights elsewhere, we stayed three nights. We greatly Enjoyed our stay, the room was huge and very nice. The property was great, exercise room, indoor/outdoor pool, drinks in the morning, but there were a lot of little things that kept bugging us. They gave you soap, dishsoap, and dishwasher cleaner in the room, but you had to go to the front desk and request shampoo, they wouldn't put it in […] the room. The TVs had terrible sound issues, to the point to where we couldn't use them. We had two TVs in the room, and both had the same issue. One of them also had poor video quality.Finally, they closed down things early, like the pool, arcade room, etc.. I don't think they actually follow their times at all, and jsut close them when they think people arn't coming up anyway... Well, they guessed wrong on us once. But overall, I'd go there again. The Vacation Village in the Berkshires is a large complex of condo buildings located not far from the Jiminy Peak ski area. We stayed there in summer while attending a weekend festival at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, about 20 miles away, so only used the "village" as a hotel. The Village has an outdoor pool, workout room, […] game room, and playgrounds for kids, all of which looked well maintained. In the summer you can drive to nearby towns for theater, music, antiquing, etc. The condo was a bit dated in decor (i.e., the jacuzzi tub was located in the bedroom instead of the bathroom) but was spotlessly clean and quite large. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials. There was a coffee maker with coffee but no sugar or creamer of any kind. So be sure you stop along the way and pick up a few basics because there is no restaurant nor any kind of convenience store on the property. We were on the lower floor with an active family right above us, with footsteps sounding noisily when the kids were running around. Read more

I had stayed at this resort last yr so I was aware of the in-room jacuzzis but due to the holiday wknd and busyness they weren't able to accommodate me with one.
