"Fine location, no frills Hotel !"
Although I only stayed 1 night on a Business trip I am a frequent leisure traveller with my wife so I tend to pay close attention to whats on offer wherever I stay ! The Mediterranea Plaza was a decent hotel in a great location for exploring the town of Alicante ! It's situated in a lovely little square with a unique water feature across from it and […] is a short walk from Alicantes Rambla and is surrounded by many little pedestrian walkways with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from ! Alicante is surprisingly similar to a smaller version of Barcelona in parts ! The hotel was good, beds basic but suitable, good bathroom with a good shower. Lovely and helpful front desk staff. Breakfast is only a continental style buffet but was decent with a lot of choice.
