I thought that the reviews of this hotel were not all that impressive, but I just needed a place to stay for one night while in the area on business, and summer in Maine can mean high hotel prices. It was very pleasant. They let me check in early, upgraded my room for no additional charge, and gave us whoopie pies! How could you not enjoy that? Beds were pretty standard, pillows were not comfy. This hotel is right off the highway but well positioned so you don't see or hear it. It recently was renovated and the rooms are clean and bright, nicely decorated and reasonably priced.
