"not the best..."
I'm not sure about the suites, but as for the inn/motel rooms, they could use some refinishing. it was really loud and hectic when we checked in around 11pm. yes it was late on a saturday night next to their bar, but it was just not a great experience. the lady at the check-in counter seemed overwhelmed and just not very friendly. i called a couple […] days before and asked for a king bed room and they said it was available - but when we got there, it was not available, so we just had to settle for a double. Some of the metal parts in the room was rusting, the carpet had an old musty smell, and the shower curtain was smelly and had what looked like a blood stain on it.. the sink and counter seemed newer and the tv/shelves/fridge were all fine. still, i just did not feel very clean while in the room. its fine to just sleep and leave, but definitely not a place to stay for long. if you are going to book, book early b/c it's not really worth the amount we paid for it as a last minute booking. "Very comfortable bed"
We are very picky about bed, And their bed make my whole family happy. Not too soft not too too hard, very comfortable. The breakfast was ok. And 6 mile down there's Walmart . "Things aren't what they seem"
I was less than impressed with this facility. I saw teh photographs provided on Hotels.com and decided I would give this hotel a try. "The Old and the New"
There's an old and new section of the hotel. The new section is VERY nice. The old section is VERY bad. It's amazing how one hotel can be so bitter sweet. The old section is for the smokers, people with pets etc. The new section is where you want to stay. Still, it's getting harder to find a smoking room so beggers can't be choosers. The wall looked […] like they took out some old furnishings, such as mirrors and head boards that were attached and then just painted over it with no touch ups. The toilet fushed so loud and long I didn't dare fush after 11pm. The staff was nice all other aspects of the hotel were good. The fridgerator and microwave is a nice touch. It turned out that this event was just ending so we had ltttle interaction with the "artists".
