Its not the first time I book this hotel!! I love the rooms, unfortunately, my staying was the same day as the snow storm, and the hotel didn't have electric power. Arrived and checked in with no problem, left for my event arrived later that night to about 60 people drinking beer in the parking lot, my wife was concerned about our safety. We proceeded to our room only to find out the AC unit wasn't working. Called front deak was told "all rooms were having the same issue and I would have to deal with it for a little […] while till they fixed it. My wife convinced me to give them sum time, Woke up Sat morning to a room that was 84 degrees, went to front desk and complained in person. Was told a manager would contact me. Left for our sat night event, returned around midnight only to find the place surrounded once again by people drinking in the parking lot, got to the room it was now 90 degrees, told my wife to pack cuz we were leaving. As I was checking out I informed them that this was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak with a manager, was told he would be in Sun morning and that I should call him... I will never ever stay at any Hampton Inn, for my experience I think a hotel in downtown Newark would have been better... I paid top dollar for a sweat box...
