This hotel was a decent value for the area considering it was clean, inexpensive, and was less than a mile from the center of Florence. Staff: The staff was polite, but not overly friendly or as willing to help as other hotels we had experienced. But they were willing to answer our specific questions, so it was fine. Location: It is about a mile walk […] from Il Duomo. Late at night it is a little dark, but during the day is a very pleasant walk. There is a Coop grocery store around the corner (take a right, then right at the huge arch, then the first left) which had incredibly inexpensive fruit, bread, beverages, etc., but keep in mind there is no fridge in the room. But it was great since there were not too many restaurants nearby. Room: It was a bit sparse and the bathroom was an awkward setup (I believe it was room 216 or 217, which may be more awkward than others). There was no enclosed storage - no closet door or drawers - so all of your items were exposed. The bathroom was the most awkward. The sink was incredibly small and the shelf hung over it, so getting near the sink was a challenge. Also, the shower was quite narrow and had no door (it was enclosed on 3 sides only). Thankfully we were both small/moderately sized - anyone who is broad, tall, or somewhat overweight would've had significant trouble since even I had to turn sideways in order to get elbow room. Quite a modern style rooms. Reasonable walking distance to the cathedral and to the main train station. Less crowded area with few places to eat out, but Florence is relatively small and can easily walk around. Loved Florence town, so beautiful and very charming streets. Great location for very low price, 5-10 minute walk into the heart of downtown Florence. Air conditioning worked very well. Room was tiny, barely anywhere to put our bags (other than on the bed). Little night table (no desk). Hotel is terribly understaffed for how busy it is. There was only one poor lady (who was very helpful) to deal with many customers. […] I phoned down for extra towels and she said I had to come get them myself because she couldn't leave the desk. Bed was comfortable, but with no screen on the window, lots of bugs got in at night (I need fresh air to sleep, so had to leave windows open). No fridge. Don't buy drinks or water at the hotel, walk for a couple minutes and save lots of money. Room was fairly clean, but sheets (specifically the mattress cover) were dirty. We drove in and it was easy to find, not sure about proximity to bus/train though. Read more

Le style de l'hotel qui est plutôt un genre d'auberge de jeunesse implique obligatoirement l'absence de service, de confort et, maitrise des coûts oblige, une propreté à désirer. Simples, limpo e fácil acesso. Sem muito conforto, o estilo é o mesmo do Formula 1, da rede Accor. Nada de mais, mas conveniente. Não tem quase comércio perto e se for de carro prepare-se para ter que deixá-lo na rua e ainda marchar em 20 euros por cada 8 horas de estacionamento de rua. O hotel é bem novo e bem localizado. Em frente há um estacionamento que custou 20 euros por dia. O serviço de internet funciona somente no primeiro andar. Para conhecer Florença pode-se fazer tudo a pé. O hotel é muito bem localizado e perto dos pontos turísticos mais conhecidos. O café da manhã é bom e o quarto ótimo.

Reinheid van de kamer liet te wensen over. Hotel ligt dicht tegen centrum Florence aan, goed te lopen. Verder onaangenaam verrast dat er geen parkeermogelijkheid is, alleen een parkeergarage op 200 meter afstand, tegen 20€ per dag.
