The internet is very expensive and if you are using an Apple device good luck ours never would connect to the internet. And to use it on their computers you pay 8 euro for 8 hours and when you think you logged off the internet it did not and runs down your time. And the front desk could careless. "Wedding in Fiesole, Florence - 3 Night Stay"
We stayed 4 nights as our friends were getting married in nearby Fiesole Castle just outside Florence. The service at reception was particularly good. The two ladies who seem to cover the early and late shifts between themselves are fantastic. They speak good English and really go the extra mile for you and make you feel welcome. We had only booked […] B&B so can only talk of the service and food at breakfast. The waiters and waitresses did their job but did not go out of their way to be great. On two mornings I had to chase them up as the coffee machine had run out of clean cups and another day I had to chase them up as the coffee machine had run out of coffee. Breakfast was ok. The only other comment I could make on the service was that the bar service was slow – My wife and I waited for about 20 min even though a bar man had been through the bar whilst taking drinks to evening diners and acknowledging us before a fellow guest advised us that service was poor at the bar and he’d recommend going out of the hotel for a drink. This is what we did. The room was clean and adequate for our stay but nothing special to shout about. The bed was comfortable, there was a 19 inch flat screen tv with BBC World Service, Mini Bar, safe and Tea and Coffee facilities. City was easy bus access but coming back at night was a long bus wait. Make sure you check the bus times (not punctual) if returning late at night. Otherwise hotel is nice. Vàrt Deluxe-rum var perfekt, rent rum, fräscht och fint. Nyàrsmaten var inte bra för det höga priset vi fick betala. City-tax för hotellet var 4eur vilket var mycket per natt och person. El hotel esta a las afueras de la zona monumental al lado de donde se coge la autoestrafa. A 10 minutos en autobus del centro. Hay 3 paradas al lado del hotel. Al lado hay una cafeteria en la que se dedayuna por 2 euros , una pasteleria,pizzeria que solo abre por las noches,farmacia, gasolinera,... O hotel está bem localizado para entrada e saída da cidade. A dificuldade que se tem é para o acesso ao centro, mas nada que não se supere. Es muy comodo!!!. Esta un ¨poco¨alejado del centro historico de Florencia, pero tiene muy buena conexion de bus, por lo tanto es facil trasportarte. LLegamos en tren por lo cual requerimos un taxi para llegar, el costo fue de aproximadamente EU$30. La habitacion muy comoda y el baño estaba muy bien. La parada del bus esta frente al hotel al lado de […] una pizzeria ( ademas el hotel esta frente a una estacion de gasolina con una tiendita donde puedes comprar cosas que te salen mas baratas que en el centro historico como liquidos para hidratarte y el tiquete del bus), demora 15 a 20 minutos en llegar al centro historico. Una recomendacion....si sales en tren y sales tarde, te aconsejo que en la mañana realices el check out y las maletas las dejes en la estacion del tren ( cerca en el centro historico) en una bodega (EU$ 5 por maleta por 3 horas) para que no pierdas tiempo volviendo al hotel, ya que esta queda al otro lado de la ciudad. Hotel très agréable, en dépit d'une propreté non irréprochable. Salle de bain et lits OK , mais la poussière n'avait pas été faite depuis bien longtemps. De plus, malgré la clim, les fenêtres étaient ouvertes à notre arrivée, et les moustiques avaient élu domicile dans notre chambre. Il nous a fallu un certain temps pour les éliminer.... En dehors de […] ça, nous gardons une bonne opinion de cet hotel car il est très bien desservi par le bus (la ligne 23 qui va au centre historique s'arrete devant l'hotel) ce qui nous a permis de laisser notre voiture sur le parking (gratuit) et de visiter la ville en toute tranquillité. En choisissant un Holiday Inn, nous savions qu'on aurait de la qualité pour un prix raisonnable : donc pas de surprise, heureusement ! Très bien, spacieux. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel donc pas d'avis supplémentaire. (le petit déj est en surplus du prix de la chambre). Se garer à Florence est un calvaire, et impossible de trouver […] des places gratuites. L'hôtel étant situé à Florence même, mais à 3 km du centre historique, possibilité de laisser la voiture sur le parking fermé gratuit de l'hôtel et de prendre un bus juste devant l'hôtel pour aller visiter la ville.
