i had to book a london hotel at short notice and this was the best i could find within my expenses bracket and i was not hopeful, how wrong could i have... been! the hotel is a 90 second walk from watford junction train station which is a short 20 minute ride from london euston, i have had tube journeys last longer within central london. check in was swift and simple, the room was large by london standards and clean and comfortable. At the time i stayed there movies + internet was available at a reduced cost of 10 pounds the in house bar had non hotel rates (usually far higher). I stay in london often for work and have usually opted for a more central location thinking it was a better option but will rethink this position. I cannot fault this hotel and i have many, true it is further out from central london but the good train links mean this is a non issue and the next time i have to be in london i will attempt to stay here again if my number one choice is not available. by a Hotels.com guest on 12/08/10
