"Nice hotel, but some drawbacks..."
We came here for one night for a family trip to Raptor Reef and Silverwood. It was very convenient and worked out great in that aspect. The one HUGE drawback is because of the location and proximity to Raptor Reef/Triple play it was LOUD! the hotel was not even close to full and they put us in a room that was right next to the waterslides and park area […] and it was horrible until about 3am when the place closed for the night. We didn't realize this until about 10pm, or I would have asked to move rooms, but our 3 and 4 year old had fallen asleep already. "Worst Holiday Inn Express Experience I've Had"
I stay in Holiday Inn Express' quite regularly (2X per month) and this is the worst experience I've had so far. It started out well. After check in, I went to go open my room and the key didn't work. I went downstairs where the manager told me she had keyed the room wrong so she was upgrading me to a nicer room. While the room was very large it smelled […] like there had been a dog in the room previously. I could not get a wifi signal at all in my room and when I was trying to get help from the front desk it seemed like he was more interested in talking on the phone (Personal Call) than helping me with my issue. When I advised him I couldn't even plug in to the wall he simply said "I don't know what to tell you". I had to do the work that I had to get done in the hotel lobby.
